Got a quote, had the job done then told it did not include VAT and he also forgot to quote for some items, which he charged for when I collected my vehicle. What seemed a reasonable price ended up a lot. Not the sort of person to argue with. Job not done properly and had to get fixed elsewhere. Will not go back.

Booked through fixter for brake pad replacement, required brake discs to be changed to as well since they were badly scratched from the heavily worn pads. Luckily they were able to get this all sorted within the same day, dropped off in the morning and picked up just before they close. Great service, really well priced - definitely recommend!

Bought car from SMC Hempshire lane Stockport motors 27.12.2022 supposed to have mot and service.Shows air filter fitted 'DEFINITELY NOT' on looking still old one.Obviously in league to sell cars.

Got me in quick and sorted one issue but paid them over 200quid to go through breaks and still got a fault flashing up. So unsure why not picked up. Update: went to take it in and first thing he did was verbally have a pop as I left a luke warm review. If he believed it was wrong he can explain calmly but very last thing you do when speaking with a customer is verbally have a pop from the start. So took my business elsewhere and downgraded my previous review. Customer service is important so will never use again. Seemed to protest too quick as though this wasnt the first time they've had this come up.

Avoid at all costs. Long story short, not professional in what they are doing, damaged another part while installing new part, charge double for the parts and you’ll never see the actual reciept for the part unless you Pursue the matter every day to get the reciept and find this out as I did, In case that the new part is faulty which happened to me you can’t do anything and they don’t help. Absolute rip off. Had to pay another garage to fix the old problem and the new problem they made. Cost me a fortune. Absolute rip off. AVOID.

They changed the part in my car that was causing the stop start to fail. They were fantastic. Reliable, helpful and professional. Nothing was to much trouble. It was excellent service. I would recommend this company to anybody.
