Five Star Dry Cleaners

I had really bad experience with this dry cleaners. My coat was burned, and because this was local i took it there. And Oh my god, it was fixed so unprofessionally!!! They had to remove whatever they did, which has cost more damage as they put some kind of glue instead of sealing the part which was damaged. I also asked for my coat to be washed and when i took it home I realised it was still dirty! I couldn't be bothered to take it back. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

normally they are very efficient but I recently took my coat there for them to fix a hole. the next day I paid and went home. when I got home I realised they had not done anything to the coat so I had to take it back again.

Get our dry clean and alterations there. Always get best service. Professional approach and pleasant attitude towards their customers.Best dry cleaners in the area. Recommend everyone to use them.

Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!! Literally wore a brand new Moncler Augert stone fur-trimmed shell jacket once it's a light beige colour and I marked one of the pockets so went to get it cleaned in Loughton, the dry cleaners at the start of the high road, they dont clean on site, returned to collect and Noticed extreme blue dye on the outer flap of coat and discolouring of the pocket, clearly whatever chemicals had been applied had been done so excessively, they explained the jacket is cleaned off site at Five star Dry cleaners, initially they tried to tell me that the stain came out!!!! Quickly realised this was a complete lie!! And in fact the coat is in a far worse state then when handed to them!!! Will be pursing them for damages in the small claims court! Complete and utter shambles if u have any items of clothing which u value do not bring to this company!! Also called the romford Five star dry cleaners worker would not give me the name of the owner of the firm or the managers contact details, said they would call me back,,,, of course this never happened!!!!

Ruined a new pair of curtains I had brought for them to shorten and to add a blackout to. Curtains came back uneven and the blackout had been sewn in unevenly too. When I brought them back to try to remedy the situation I was met with a 'don't care' attitude. Very unprofessional especially since I had been a regular client. Won't be going back.

I used this place to replace the zip on my jacket and they completely ruined my jacket. The stitching was uneven with the thread showing and my jacket had been ripped near the zip area. When I mentioned this to them they were rude and still made me pay.

Brought something in short notice and they managed to get it done so quick happy with there service

Despite my clear instructions, they went ahead and made reckless changes that were entirely unnecessary and inappropriate for the garment.Upon receiving my altered garment, I was shocked to find that the stitching was uneven and messy. It was evident that they had no regard for the original design or the fabric's delicate nature. The seams were crooked, the hemline was uneven, and the entire garment looked nothing like the exquisite piece I had initially brought in.To make matters worse, they had also stained the fabric during the alteration process, leaving ugly marks that were impossible to remove. It was heart-wrenching to see my once beautiful and cherished garment turned into an unwearable disaster.When I confronted owner about the damages they caused, they were dismissive and unapologetic. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes, they attempted to blame me for the garment's ruined state, claiming that I had not given clear instructions. This was a blatant lie, as I had provided detailed explanations and even brought reference images to ensure a precise alteration.As a customer, I expected to receive quality workmanship and respect for my cherished possessions. However, the dry cleaners fell far short of these basic expectations. They displayed a complete lack of accountability and professionalism, leaving me with a garment that was now unwearable and ruined.I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am with the services provided by 5 star dry cleaners. I urge anyone considering their services to think twice before entrusting them with their precious garments. I would strongly advise seeking a more reliable and skilled tailor to avoid the heartache and frustration that I have experienced.In conclusion, my encounter with 5 star dry cleaners has been nothing short of a nightmare.
