Lovely peaceful location. Plenty of places to sit and admire the views. The highlight was the carved tree. Beautiful

Been here before a lovely walk around the lake lots of fish and playarea for the kids

Very pretty lake however, the water bridge, near end looks like pea soup and needs aerating. Surely not much can thrive in that part.

A beautiful oasis well worth a visit with a toilet block good parking and a free to use open air gym the lake is easy to wander around with fantastic wildlife

Beautiful lake walk with surrounding park, resident heron, egret, moorhens and lots and lots of ducks! Wonderful place for families as there's a small children's play area, picnic benches, sculpture trail and plenty of room to run off some energy. There's an adjoining woodland walk which is also very pretty. The paths round the lake are comparatively flat and quite accessible, though one stretch of path does get very muddy in wet weather. The woodland walk is not so accessible with slopes, a bridge and a fair amount of uneven ground, as with the lake the paths do get very muddy!

Lovely place for a gentle stroll and/ or a picnic. Close to car parks, public toilets and Newent town centre. Woodland wildlife including banks of spring flowers can be seen, as well as water birds etc. Paths are suitable for pushchairs, and some for wheelchairs. There is a small, rustic style children's playground and you can can buy duck food in the nearby hardware shop. There is coarse fishing, for which both an Environment Agency Rod Licence, and a permit from the Town Council are required, available in season to residents and a limited number of non-residents. A recent addition to the lakeside walk is a striking wildlife carving, to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Pleasant stroll around next to the village centre and church. Good parking. On a good spring day with everything blossoming it was very nice.

A lovely stroll around the lake is a must. See the ducks, fish plus there are adult fitness equipment outside for you to try all free. A small play area for the children. The whole area is kept beautifully. Plus it is free with seats so take a picnic & enjoy the quietness.

Lovely place! I regularly go there with my little one and meet friends and family there. It's got a little playground and outdoor gym and lots of benches and lots of space for picnics or just sunbathing. Love it there

Lovely and very cheap to park up too. Nice walk kids play area and picnic area our puppy loved it.
