Great for walks and exercise. Path is bit bumpy but ok nevertheless. Most owners keep dogs on leads. Free Parking with limited spaces. A few seats long the path.

Lovely little walk to take your dog on or the family! There's a car park however it's always full on nice days. The farm shop sells drinks and ice cream too

Nice place for a walk and good for dogs. Got decent paths all the way round although they’re a bit thinner than at some reservoirs so you’re quite close to others as you pass them. Very peaceful and some areas you can get down next to the water. There’s quite a few other walkers, dogs and cyclists. It takes about 30 mins to do a full laptop at a steady walk. There’s a free car park at one end that’s very close to the entrance of the reservoir.

Nice little walk. Does get busy, and lots of dog walkers have their dogs off the lead.

Right on our doorstep. Lovely walk with fabulous views to the south, over towards Penistone and the Peak District.Car park for those coming from further afield, plenty of bins for bagged dog poo and litter, (although some scruffs seem to not observe common decency).Enjoy and dispose of your litter properly.

Loved it and it's only a few miles from where I live. Loads of dog walkers and lots of mess. Lovely views and people are very chatty

Ardsley Reservoir
Great place to go for a walk or run, take the dog or family. Some nice views. There’s a path that outlines the perimeter of the reservoir which is mostly flat. Parking available, but places get snapped up during peak times. There’s also a small farm shop near the car park.
