Lovely hidden place to take the dogs for a walk. Kid friendly and not a big walk, my two year old daughter managed to walk round no problem

On those summer days where it's unbearably hot and sticky, it's nice to sit by Horbury Lagoon and cool down. The area is usually quiet apart from the occasional dog walker, and you can follow the river back to town when you're done. Bliss.

Excellent place for a walk, or dog walking. Problem is there is no ware to park. Wakefield council like vultures. Once paid for a ticket but didn't get one. Only went 5minutes away from car to find my disabled wife, by the time I got back I had a ticket. Wakefield council didn't give a dam
