Lovely lake to walk around, there is a pub nearby as well so that’s always a plus! There is also a kids play park on the footpath around the lake. And a lot of angling spots. Parts of the paths are slightly overgrown though so beware and will be muddy if there has been rain/in the winter.

Great place for a sail, walk, jog or outing. Watch the birds, watch the sailors, simply relax. To get to the boat house drive along Priorslee Avenue, then turn on Teece Drive, past the Holy Trinity Academy (high school), then the boats are at the bottom of a track. Alternatively park up at Castle Farm Way road and view the lake from the pull in, if the road house food stall is open enjoy a refreshment.

Nice walk around the lake with the dog,need to wear wellies this time of year,can park alongside the lake,there is a mobile kitchen parked up there,lovely cup of tea and aburger was had after my walk
