I love this great walk , surrounded by a quarry and reservoir this is one of my favourite spots around the Chorley area especially during the spring/summer time for a long walk

Really nice place to walk along. It's big tho so prepared to stay a while.

Lovely quiet place for a walk. Saw three baby frogs! Took the right hand path after going through the pedestrian gate by the car park to take in the views (avoided going to the top as it can be noisy) then back down along the reservoir. Plenty of benches along the way.

Nice area for gentle walks. Some forest trails but limited natural paths around the reservoir. Wider area is great for more challenging terrain e.g. Rivington Pike.
