Village Cars

I have been using Village cars for about 3 months solidly now - while I await on my car to be fixed, and periodically before then. Everytime I've needed a taxi, apart from once, the taxi has arrived within 5 mins. All the cars, except 1, have been immaculate and modern, and the drivers have all been friendly. This is obviously just my experience, but I have used them a lot within the last 3 months so feel my judgement is a fair one. Thank you Village Cars!

i rang for a taxi asked how much it will cost to my house from Oldham Royal hospital. I asked how much will it cost the operator said £5.50. The drive came i took me home and took longer route, charge me £6.50. i have been driving for more than ten years so am not stupid. i feel sorry for this guy may be he needs to make an extra pound here and there.

Absolutely awful service, told me to wait 15 mins for a taxi which is quite long for them but I understood as it was raining heavily and many people would be wanting a taxi. So I’m stood there waiting for 40 mins and when I call up I get attitude thrown at me and was told there are no drivers available. This may be because it was Ramadan and time to open the fast which is why nearly all of their Muslim drivers were at home opening their fast. I think a place for improvement for village cars is to hire non-Muslim drivers because it can get very frustrating when you call up and they say there’s no drivers available

The guy on the phone is SO rude. Don’t use this service, he swears and he acts like he is doing you a favour by ordering you a taxi, honeypie I’m paying you to do this. He should be fired I’m disgusted by his manners. My sister called back to complain and he would not admit it was him on the phone. Stupid man

Shocking do not use. I rang a cab to pick me up from hollinwood tram station after waiting 15min i rang and asked how long the cab was going to be. It was 21.15pm , i was alone feeling slightly vulnarable. The very rude operater told me i hadnt ordered a cab , i told him i had and had the call log on my phone as proof. The operator lost him temper and started shouting at me ! Absolutly disgusting. I will never use this compony again and will share my story with social media sites.

They don't trust you they lock the doors my worry is in an accident I can't escape. I am not a moron I am a paying customer. If it's a three pound fare you are employed as a taxi driver not a fruit picker thank you.

Currently sat in a taxi stuck in traffic and really late for an important meeting, I left in good time to get there. I asked the rude driver to take me to Greengate Street in Oldham, when I looked on Google Maps it was 5 mins away. Anyway, 7 mins into the journey we get to a closed road of which the driver to turns around and then complained he is tired. Then he carries on with the journey and takes me to the Greengate Business Centre which is the total wrong place! He got aggressive in his tone when I said this is not the right address, he started arguing with me that this is what I said. In the end I asked him to take me back home having missed my meeting. I ASKED HIM AT THE START IF HE WANTED THE POSTCODE BUT HE SAID HE KNEW WHERE HE WAS GOING. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME IT HAS HAPPENED AND I'M NOT USING VILLAGE CARS AGAIN. TEACH YOUR DRIVERS DIRECTIONS OR GIVE THEM ORIENTATION SKILLS AND MANNERS AND THEN I WILL USE YOU AGAIN. Also, called to complain and speak to management, was told that the manager will be in at 7am in the morning... I called past 7 and he wasn't there. Please lie to someone else.

Absolutely disgraceful this taxi company!! The way they think they can speak to you. I have just had a baby my mother has been watching my little boys so she ordered a taxi at 7am for 8.30!! To phone the taxi company back when hadn’t turned up, for them to say he hadn’t requested it and she said I need to get them to school for 8.30 to be told he won’t be sending it then hung up!! My children are 4&5 it’s freezing outside and you get scum like this thinking they can talk to anyone in a disgraceful manner!! Very unprofessional and rude will not be using this company again!!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Please never use this service. I called for a taxi for my parents to pick them up from Manchester Airport and I gave him my mum's number. I call again after 10 minutes and the man says he is going to call them now, I tell him to change the number because my mum's phone ran out of battery and he starts screaming at me saying call another taxi and other things that I could not understand. I am only a 16 year old doing a favour to my parents who don't speak English, he thinks he is doing a great favour, no he isn't. I had to call A2B and they were so much more nicer and calm. Didn't let him hung up on me so I hang up at the instant from when he started screaming and said someone's name (Tariq) and that I should call other taxi.

Iv been a regular for 10 years! Since they have got a new guy on the phones who does not have any manners is so rude!! im so discussed the way he treats customers on the phone! iv put a complaint twice about this person but nothing ever gets done!! Its really put me and my friends & family off!!! Think you need to get rid of this person whos giving your company a bad name!!!
