I love CeX generally and I've been to many around the country. This one is unfortunately my local and I have decided to stop going in here completely now. Echoing many of the other reviews, the staff in here are generally quite rude and make you feel like a problem for being there, and particular members of staff go even beyond that. I've had all manner of problems in here and I only kept going back because it was close to home but I won't be going back again. Would strongly recommend a hard avoid of this particular store.

I'm a resident of Brazil and I was in Cambridge for an exchange program, I found the store walking through the streets and I went in, I fell in love with the store! here in Brazil there is nothing like it. The problem is precisely the people who work there, on my third visit I asked the attendant to pick up an item from the shelf so I could see the voltage (I live in Brazil and here it is 110v) and the attendant simply grabbed the product from my hand implying that I would run out of the store (accusing myself of theft) I recommend anyone going to this store to be very careful, the attendants are extremely rude, you enter the store and it seems that you don't even exist. nobody answers you, nobody gives you a good day. Totally different from CEX in London, there I was treated like a king, the attendants are very polite and helpful.

Watch out!Wouldn’t recommend this store. I’ve been coming for a while now and every time I leave the store I have one more reason not to come back.But this time is different! People be aware and sell your things online and go to store to give your item. This time I tried selling in store my Hp envy x360 convertible and the guy who helped told me I could get 227 credit or 159 cash. I thought this was odd because I had seen the item online before but I went away and accepted. We told me to come back after 1:45m. When I came back I was helped by another lad this one looked young and inexperienced so we told me if I wanted my 227 cash or 300 and something voucher.I think you can get to the conclusion by yourselves now.Absolutely ridiculous

Amazing experience! The worker with green hair saved my life. Me and my 10 month year old baby got ran at and this hero tackled them and threw them into space. That was 10 years ago we are now married with 6 children.

I came 8 miles cycling from waterbeach and went 10 minutes before closing just to hear that the network isn't working. I requested them a lot but they don't give a ****.I know that could literally take cash and do the transaction later if they are friendly enough because i worked on the till for an year

If you are considering selling via drop and go at this store - don’t bother. I’ve dropped a very expensive item off over a day ago, it took ages to get a testing email (which I only got after emailing in) and I’ve had 0 communication about if it’s been tested or processed. It’s impossible to speak to anyone or customer service. Will go back in and just get the item back.

Perfect store ever last time I went here ages ago the staff was amazing and that was even way before lockdown but now nope they had the cheek too take some money off as they didn’t have any cable with it which I didn’t bring as last sold my I phone in Lincoln store and they never cared about it but only phone itself but sold my Samsung and they think it’s more needed too take money off as no charger was with it !!!!! Never again will I go here

Returned a faulty game controller, and they happily gave me a cash refund after testing it. Very happy with their customer service.

Nice and big CEX store. Very accessible place to buy and sell second hand tech things.You can probably find better prices if you spend time looking for the right item on places like Facebook marketplace, but you never know what you'll and you might search for a while.Going to CEX is a lot easier and can save you a decent amount of hassle
