Gray's Seat

Evidently an abandoned attraction.Entrance was a very missable little fern covered opening in the wall, with probably the most recognisable sign of its existence being the ambitious bicycle parking to the right of it.Relatively difficult pathway with lots of nettles to avoid and crouching necessary to get through, only to find a similarly overgrown viewpoint with little to offer, at least in early summer, besides one narrow glimpse of some hills and another of wind turbines.You get to see more of the caravan park below than the actual landscape.Curious to know what it'd be like with some maintenance though.

Location would benefit if some trees were cleared. Original justification for seat as viewpoint does not exist. Track hard to find at road end. Can't park car as layby fenced off. Understandable as a corner on a busy road but like lack of view disappointing. Visit on bike or on foot!
