Melanie did face to face photo session for my four year old even got a few of him and my self, Melanie was so good at keeping him entertained and he can be quite difficult to sit and get a photo on a good day but she worked wonders with him! The photos Have turned out amazing I’m so happy with them! her studio is so lovely aswell xx

Great relaxing and friendly atmosphere for both parents and baby during newborn session.Melanie was really gentle and patient with our little one when positioning and photographing.Maternity session and newborn session was done very professionally by Melanie and the photographs are beautiful with great communication given by Melanie when photos were ready to be viewed and lots of help given with any enquiries or questions before and after both sessions.Highly recommend MJ Portraits for capturing specials times in life.

Melanie is a great photographer. She has so much patience. She has photographed both my children. Her images are so beautiful it was hard choosing so ended up with them all. She is very professional and welcoming. Will definitely be back again for another session.

Cannot deal with how amazing the photos are of my little model. Far better than I ever imagined. Melanie is fantastic at what she does and she made the whole experience so calm and fun for us both. Cant reccommend Melanie enough !!Had photos taken twice before, once with my son a few months old which she was amazing with and him being 100mile an hour and a total boy, she was just sooo patient and managed to capture the most perfect photos of him I don’t know how she did it !!And more recently a maternity shoot for me, being photographed myself is totally out of my comfort zone but Melanie couldn’t have made me more at ease and I never once felt awkward at all. She’s just soo nice and exactly how you would want a photographer to be like making you feel so comfortable. Her maternity gown needs a mention on its own… Just wow ! The photos are absolute amazing and I’m so happy with them, definately something I wouldn’t normally do but couldn’t be more happy I’ve done. Photos to treasure for sure !The most perfect professional amazing photographer :)

Absolutely delighted with our newborn photo's and would definitely recommend booking with Melanie. Melanie squeezed us in last minute and couldn't have been more accommodating from start to finish. So patient and gentle with our little model who seemed to enjoy the shoot having not made a sound the whole time! Communication was excellent and our photo's were ready and hand delivered within 2 weeks of our shoot. Photo presentation was lovely and a great keepsake. We almost didn't bother with newborn photo's but after seeing them no I am so glad we did!100% recommend!

Melanie is fabulous! My daughter was teething and very grumpy on the morning of her sitter session and I couldn’t believe how good the photos turned out. Wouldn’t even have known she’d been so upset, Melanie was so good with her.
