About the Business
Home | Scotscraig Golf Club has hosted the Final Qualifying for The Open Championship on many occasions and we are very proud to play for the oldest medal in golf for over 200 years. We are ideally situated in the heartland of golf in North East Fife with both the “Old Course” in St Andrews and Carnoustie Golf Links just a short drive away.

Great course and was much more enjoyable than I was expecting. I felt that it wasn't that tricky and will be more suitable for higher handicappers but the course is in great condition with some very interesting holes. Hole 15 was my favourite. Members seems welcoming and friendly too. Recommend if in the area.

Actually really enjoyed the round/course just felt poor value for the £100 visitor rate (well worth the £25 member guest rate!!). If this course was in a more remote area of Scotland or NI it would be half the price. Greens and Tees were mint but fairways and other areas very bare to the extent that our fourball agreed to 'placing' so we could enjoy the round. Staff were welcoming and food was grand.

Very enjoyable morning spent here. Very friendly club, a tricky layout on a very well maintained surface in a stunning location. What more could you ask for?

I would rate this as 4 star. Why well we only got to play the front 9 so couldn’t see the rest of the course. From what we saw I’d say it’s a super layout. The pro shop has recently been taken over. So I wish him well and I’m sure given time the pro shop will improve.

Great quirky course, some holes requiring some more thought than others. Clubhouse good with a decent food choice. Small Pro shop, with a decent selection of goods. Would definitely go back.

Me and my German friends played two days ago in this course. Fairway is damnaged, green is not at level of the price we payed and so we played only nine holes. The secretary promise that he contact us by phone and they don’t do it!

Great place to play, 13th oldest in The world. Challenging layout off the back tees, in great condition. Ideal for visiting parties, fairly flat. Highly recommended. Stunning day today (27 March). Cannot get a better place to play. Course was magnificent for preseason, well worth playing.

For a friendly and approchable club you will be hard beat to get better than Scotscraig. Course is a real challenge with enough variation to keep it interesting . Have used the restaurant a couple of times great quality and fair prices.
