Oxford Market Barber

I went in today to get a haircut before my holiday, there was a style i wanted to try and do but wasn't sure if i had the right hair for it so i wanted to ask and the guy who served me said i can't grow hair for you which i am aware of but i wanted to see about how i would go about that style so already i was a bit put off, then during the cut he took a phone call which didn't sound like it went very well, he was clearly very annoyed and then starting rubbing my head during the phone call and ended it with throwing he phone on the counter, the cut itself was good but i felt very uncomfortable during the cut.Edit: I also looked on the website and i can see I've been overcharged on my hair, the price for a skin fade on the website was £18.50 and i was charged £20.

truly the worst haircut ive ever had. rushing so bad. right side longer than the left and super short.i told him i wanted just a bit off the top and fringe and leave the sides and back, do not cut anything at all. instead he cut all of my hair (actually cutting more from the back than the top) and then went over my whole head with thinning scissors?? down to the root?? clearly this guy is not a skilled nor trained barber and just knows one basic haircut he gives to anyone. i went in with a middle part and he left me with a side parting. he didnt even ask me how it was, clearly because he knew it was so poorly done.gave me £3.50 off for ruining my life for the next 6 weeks though, how generous..was the guy working behind the counter as you enter so categorically do not let him cut your hair.

My 4 year old has been wanting his lovely blond curls cut off for a while and he decided he wanted it done today! Mo was absolutely amazing he made the whole experience fun for him while consoling me, the distraught mother. You gave him the most amazing milestone moment. He’s still talking about it now. We cannot thank you enough.

Just had a lovely haircut with these guys, my second one in as many months. Got chatting with the owner today who said they'd hired a bad barber, who is the reason for the bad cuts mentioned in the recent reviews. They fired him as soon as they could, and their standards are as good as they ever were. Free coffee while you wait and an efficient service for a good price! Absolutely will be going back again,

I never leave reviews bht this was the worst haircut I’ve ever had, asked for a low skin fade with a bit of the top and the sides r uneven and at the back of my head theirs a shaven spot clearly a mistake but nothing was said at the time, the top is unevenly cut and falls horribly, so much so my sister laughed at the sight of me when she saw me after it. On top of all that ridiculously priced for what was a ten minute haircut, was charged 20 pounds

Terrible haircut. I tried this barber out as I was in town, but I will never be going back. I asked for clippered 1 up to ears and blended up to the top with scissors with a 1/2 trim on the top. The barber absolutely massacred my hair and he was finished in 5 minutes. He used the clippers all the way up to the top of the sides of my head and shaved my crown so short that it sticks out (looks like constant bedhead). Trimmed way too much off the top too

Hassan was incredible! My haircut was perfect, and all I had to do was show him a picture of what I wanted. Would recommend to everyone (especially uni students)!

Excellent service and lovely environment. First time I went for a haircut there so not sure what to expect but Antonio did an amazing job. Highly recommended!

Amazing barber shop! Incredibly satisfied with my haircut and the barbers are extremely professional, competent, and friendly! Definitely my new go to for haircuts in this city. Cannot recommend highly enough.
