QIGONG INSTRUCTOR COURSES UK
You will find me enjoying life in Windsor, Royal Berkshire, which is rich in culture and history. Famous for Windsor Castle, one of the oldest inhabited castles in the world. Its mighty stature and protective walls have provided a safe haven for those who reside there and protection from enemies and strangers over its years. Liken this to our modern day lives, like most people in life, I get swept away with work and money issues, stress being my constant enemy. I also struggled with injuries (historic & new) and ageing did not help matters either.I first tried Qigong at a retreat. I immediately felt like this was something special. I enjoyed learning the sets and the movements gave me a sense of peacefulness and calm. I knew it was something I wanted to Instruct. To be a Qigong instructor would allow me to teach something I believe in; and will benefit me and those who participate equally. The UK College of Qigong offered me the opportunity to have a starting point to learn Qigong and become an instructor. The course was concise and clear and has advocated the true essence of Qigong. Now you will find me enjoying the ancient woodlands in Windsor Great Park; the majestic trees providing me with some respite from our noisy, invasive world. That the business that surrounds us there is time and space for peace and tranquillity.Qigong has provided the answers for me. Now I am ready to share Qigong, confident that I can improve a person's vital energy and fortify their general health. And we won't need an army!

I am Lesley from Qigong Wellness Saltburn.I studied the Golden Ball Qigong Instructor Course as I was looking for an alternative to teaching Yoga. My students were finding it challenging to get up and down off the floor. I was so happy to find that Qigong provided the solution as this form of exercise can be done in a chair or standing. When I phoned the UK College of Qigong I knew after hearing the teacher’s voice that it was right for me. We shared so much in common and I loved the importance and respect for lineage within the College. The three regulations were woven through our teachings from module to module, but when we were taught the third regulation of visualisation, everything really fitted into place for me. The imagery used resonated so much, I will carry it through to my students in my own courses. The world can look a little grey when life throws us its challenges. I now look forward to sharing Golden Ball Qigong with the people of Saltburn – to help them ‘switch on the sunrise’ in themselves and thrive again.

I’m Steph from Ebb and Flow Qigong. I live on the beautiful island of Guernsey, with its undulating coastline and tranquil sandy beaches. Not surprisingly, wellness is a huge priority, both for me and my fellow islanders.I have taught in the fitness industry for over 28 years and have always been interested in the Mind/Body aspect of fitness training. And now I also promote the benefits of Qigong to my fellow swimmers where classes are held outdoors on some of the island’s bays, weather permitting.I chose to study at the UK College of Qigong after watching my Yoga teacher’s summit with Fitness industry leaders. I was drawn to Anita’s integrity and down to earth manner. The course I signed up for was accessible online – a big bonus when it costs so much to get off my island rock! What I loved about my training was the honest, careful guidance of the teacher and the way the exercises were built up layer by layer to incorporate the physical, breathwork and visualisation.I teach an increasingly ageing population and can see how this low impact exercise system will benefit my fellow islanders. Sometimes in our lives, waters can be murky, turbulent and we can feel lost at sea. Through my Qigong classes I can show people how to reset their compass, confident in the knowledge that the seas will calm and the tide will turn in their favour again. Such is the ebb and flow of life!I decided to do the Daoist Five Yin course after completing the Golden Ball Qigong training with the UK College of Qigong. I had learned so much on the first course, which has benefitted both myself and my class participants, and was keen to further my knowledge. There are similarities between the Golden Ball and Daoist Five Qigong courses – both feature low impact, tonifying exercises which, combined with the use of posture, breathwork and visualisation. However, I particularly enjoyed learning about the 12 Primary Meridians and how these exercises can help to improve our Seasonal wellbeing.During the Daoist Five Yin course Anita was a very thorough and attentive tutor with a wealth of knowledge, who took time to answer all our questions and always went the extra mile to ensure we had fully understood her teaching. It was good to have a month’s break between each module to give us time to embed what we had learned into our practice before the next session. I knew Anita was available on WhatsApp if I had any questions in between. It was very helpful to be able to refer back to the videos on the technique and the theory. I thought this blend of recorded videos and the live online sessions worked very well as a teaching method.I am confident and excited about offering these two sets of Qigong under my banner Ebb and Flow Qigong Guernsey, where topping you up with fuel for life and helping you to improve your overall fitness is top of my agenda.

Suffolk is the famous birthplace of painter John Constable, renowned for painting masterpieces of the Suffolk landscapes. Although time has moved on, these landscapes of rolling fields and coastal retreats have become my regular Qigong office.Health and wellbeing have always been important to me. I have always seen the human body as an energetic system. I first came across Qigong as a young adult and found that Qigong grounded me while quieting my mind. I felt at peace.I have thought of becoming a Qigong instructor for some years now. In lock down I decided that it was the time to become a Golden Ball Qigong instructor and share with others a technique that would energise the body. I chose the UK College of Qigong where the teacher was specific, clear and focussed in her teaching of Golden Ball Qigong.I am passionate about teaching Golden Ball Qigong to community groups outdoors, where I can help them to produce their own masterpieces of peace and tranquillity - a healthy toolkit to keep people well.

I had a previous Qigong practice so had some specific criteria in mind when I chose the Clinical Qigong for Chronic Conditions course. It was tailored for acupuncturists to provide an additional method to support patients in clinic. The teacher was very clear about where Qigong fitted into the tradition of Chinese Medicine, the purpose of the sets we were studying and their benefits. The teaching was very precise with lots of time for clarification ensuring we had understood the material. Because the group had different backgrounds it helped us to gain a view of how to deliver the material in everyday language. It was clear however that the material had a long lineage and history of use which appealed to me and aligned to my own values.I particularly liked the layering of the learning and refining skills, for example starting with physical movements, then adding the breathing in the next session. I felt this ensured that students committed to the practice and really got to experience changes in their lives which could be brought back to the next lesson. The high standards set by the teacher meant a real sense of achievement in having completed the course. Although we had to ensure our own standards met the school’s requirements, there were ample opportunities to ask questions and continuing support the whole time. We definitely got the benefit of previous experience.

I had been seeking an alternative form of exercise to teach those who have difficulty getting down to the floor and back up again, and which causes less strain to the joints. From reading the material on the UK College of Qigong website I quickly realised that Qigong fitted the bill perfectly, with the added benefit of not needing any additional equipment. The UK College of Qigong teaches more than just a health exercise. I believe that this unique training will enable me to offer Qigong classes to those who are less able to practice more conventional forms of exercise and show them how to deal with the ups and downs of life through their Qigong practice. How often do we feel free from stress and the pressures of day-to-day living? Once in a blue moon, right? Qigong encourages people to engage with nature, get outdoors and breathe fresh air in the wonderful environment in which we live. Having completed the Golden Ball Instructor Course, I feel confident that I have the tools to illuminate our world rather than constantly hiding in the shadows.

QIGONG INSTRUCTOR COURSES UK
I began the Golden Ball instructors' course, face to face, just before lockdown in 2020. Even after just one full day, immersed in the movements, I felt the teaching was going to be profound and 2 years on I can confirm the course has been life changing. I had to complete via Zoom - and admit I didn't find it easy initially (I am not that tech savvy). However Anita was professional, patient and supportive throughout - believing in me even when I stopped believing in myself. She has such integrity and teaches from the heart. I am now embracing my new qualification with joy and highly recommend the UK College of Qigong.

QIGONG INSTRUCTOR COURSES UK
I am Elaine from Qigong Chew Valley, near Bristol. I’m fanatical about our wildlife, keeping fit and dogs. Surrounded by spectacular woodlands and wildflower meadows, you can’t live in the countryside without having a love for our natural world.Being in the ’older person’ category I realise how important it is to find different ways to keep healthy and mobile. The more natural, the better! I heard an interview between my yoga teacher, Ann-see Yeoh and Sifu Anita Mason. They discussed the holistic approach to Qigong, a gentle, low impact exercise needing no special equipment. I already taught Chair Yoga and wanted to add another string to my bow. My clients find it difficult to have to get up and down off the floor, so I could see that this gentle exercise movement would benefit their needs.I liked the straightforward approach of the UK College of Qigong and signed up for a Qigong Instructor Course. Whilst on the training course I really enjoyed the simple, quirky but professional, 100% commitment given by the teacher. There was tons of support and tons of information. If you got something wrong, then you were guided back in the right direction.Having now qualified, I feel I fit in with the UK College of Qigong’s tribe ethics of integrity and their love for outdoor exercise. I’m particularly looking forward to combining my lifelong love of nature with this natural exercise set. I feel so honoured to be able to help my community to move at a natural pace, breathe in fresh, clean air, and keep their minds and spirits as independent and uninhibited as the wildlife we live with. All free spirits are welcome!

QIGONG INSTRUCTOR COURSES UK
I’m Nero from ‘Ambient Qigong Sussex’, an area of abundant natural beauty, secluded water bodies, and many woodland sanctuaries. I have always dreamt of becoming a Qigong instructor so that I can train people in these magical outdoor spaces.Eventually, I shifted to a new career and enrolled with the UK College of Qigong to become a Golden Ball Qigong Instructor. My telephone interview with Sifu cemented my trust and confidence that I would be joining a reputable lineage and College. I felt confident knowing that I would receive the correct level of training for me.An aspect of training that really impressed me was the systematic learning process. During each module, Anita was open to questions that were always answered clearly and precisely. What got my attention the most was the Nei Gong, or visualization part of the Form. This is where the magic happened for me and took my training to a different level. On a personal note, the ‘Dao’ has been of particular interest since my Wing Chun Kung Fu days at the age of 16. At the UK College of Qigong we touched on the Dao meaning a “Friend of Nature.” I just knew I was in the right place. I can now share Golden Ball Qigong, a low impact exercise which will give my clients an abundance of energy. And I get to do this in my natural surroundings in Sussex.Sometimes dreams do come true!

I am Emily from Healthy Qigong in Bath. Bath is a special place to me because of its history as a healing spa town and its easy access to beautiful countryside.I was drawn to the UK College of Qigong, where Sufi Anita clearly had the experience and wisdom I was looking for. I felt I was in safe hands. She lives and breathes Qigong and has high expectations from her students.I enrolled for the Daoist Five Yin Qigong course because it promised a mix of theory and practical, and a combination of physical movement, breathwork and visualisation. The step-by-step videos were helpful, as I need to be shown things more than once. I liked the immediacy of a personal one-to-one on WhatsApp.The other students were supportive, and I loved the monthly zoom calls where we learnt alongside each other. Being online made it accessible to all and it was great to meet new people from all over the UK.The Daoist Five Yin Qigong set encourages the ancient Daoist principles of being ‘a friend of nature’ and living in harmony with the seasons. Something our community will already resonate with as the Ancients made health and wellness a priority in Bath.I’m looking forward to teaching people in the 40-60 age bracket; people who are looking for a gentle, low-impact exercise that they can incorporate into their lifestyle and continue with as they grow older naturally.
