Game of Throwing Leicester - Axe Throwing

A great experience with a variety of very interactive digital games for all levels of skill. Staff were really friendly and welcoming, especially Agata who was patient and spent time teaching my Niece.Definitely recommend to anyone with kids over 10 looking to do some axe throwing. They also have darts which can be used if the kids are struggling.

We had an absolute blast. Lots of good coaching to get us started, then just the very satisfying “thunk!” when an ax hit home. Really fun, we will be back.

Visited GOT Leicester for a birthday event and as it was a weekday we felt it would be ok to walk in instead of booking.Our host; Agatha, was lovely, polite and professional. She gave us amazing advice as we'd never been axe throwing before, and gave us extra throws as we struggled a little.Once we'd got the basics down on grip, force and direction, we had an awesome time, would definitely come again and 100% would recommend to others.GOT Leicester was a great alternative to the standard bowling/mini golf nights which dominate most events out and are found everywhere. A brilliant host, great entertainment and a safe environment made this experience amazing.

First time coming to Game of Throwing Leicester and wow what a place! We came for a friends birthday so was around 22 of us, but brilliant from when we entered to leaving with knowledgeable helpful staff, great music and just a brilliant atmosphere.The axe throwing itself was amazing! Being a digital image but with real axes made it different and fun.We'll be back again that's for sure.

Absolutely fantastic experience! Went with hubby and 12 year old nephew. Great facilities and love the projections allowing for a range of games to be played (from target to zombie run!).Agatha was really friendly, gave great instruction and was really patient with us all, especially our sometimes over enthusiastic pre-teen!Even got a brilliant team shot at the end sent through to my mobile!We will definitely be going again and I really recommend this activity to everyone.

Took my grandson here. Really entertaining. We had a great 75 minutes. We were really well looked after by the host. We were kept completely safe and the time just flew by. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something new.

We came for our 8th wedding anniversary and had a fantastic time: the games are great fun and keep it interesting all the time you're there, our hour flew past. The staff couldn't have been nicer and the venue was great: great music, lane-tables and a range of drinks (including alcohol free beer and cider) made it fun to wait your turn too.We'll 100% be coming back, 10/10

I was very impressed with this place! The atmosphere was lovely, and the training given was very comprehensive, especially for beginners. There is a wide selection of games (around 10-15 if I'm not mistaken) and is great for competitive or chilled players. I would recommend going as a pair/trio (as less people means more axe throwing time per person) but it's fun in a group too! Agata really made our experience special by going above and beyond; we were offered a special birthday voucher and given the opportunity to pop a balloon on the target, which was a lovely finishing touch! We also got our photo taken with some giant axes to commemorate our time there too. I highly recommend this as a fun date or for a fun social event. The staff was lovely and supervise the games in an entertaining manner. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be going back!

First time axe throwing didn't disappoint. Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed the experience. I always get a thrill from a unique activity like this. The safety was well demonstrated and guided throughout. I would highly recommend to try!

As a competitive person it was a great spot to hang out with couple of friends, safe to say most of us as toxic and competitive as we were- were safely instructed in the art of axe throwing! But with a twist- they have projected games on their targets that you can change during your session so if you suck at one game... Like me you may be better in another xD thank you to the patient instructors there! We will be back for a rematch real soon!
