Skipton Sound Bar Ltd
This micro bar is like no other we have ever visited. Great real ale and real ciders as well. The seating area is divided by racks of vinyl records for sale plus some CD's. There is a DJ station and it is also a live music venue. (We believe they are moving just round the corner to bigger premises.) I had a great pint of Wensleydale Falconer.

Amazing bar with great atmosphere . We only stayed for one drink as we weren't aware of this bar before but we'll definitely be back ¡ xx

Absolutely love this place, can't go to Skipton without it! Super unique, fab beer and music with live bands! The bar man is amazing at his job, will be back as always

In the centre of Skipton, great bar with seating outside as well. Good mix of music playing, rock, punk etc. Bands playing and one was actually setting up when we were there, so got chatting with them. There is also an area where you can buy vinyl and see old school rock and punk posters on the wall. Great bar give it a try!

This was my first time since they moved venue. Love the addition of the stage and 'dance floor' space - looks like a great place for small live music now too. A super place if you enjoy music.

First visit to this place tonight. I only found out about it because the band (The Fellow Pynins, - highly recommend) we went to see were playing there, even though it’s only 14 miles away from our village.They may need to get someone to help market them or give them a social media presence as it’s a brilliant bar, record store and venue.The choice of draught beer is deeply regional but very varied in style, top marks from me.Staff are friendly and efficient.For me this is a really great find & I’ll be back soon to but vinyl!

We only went during the day to look at the second-hand records, not for an evening gig/drink. It's a lovely place and I really recommend taking a break from shopping by coming here.The music is excellent and there is a wonderful atmosphere. Drink prices are reasonable. Paying customer toilet. Vinyl prices are fair and look to be based on Discogs evaluations. I have managed to pick up a record I've wanted on both visits to date.

What a brilliant pub and record shop. I loved this place and spent rather too much money on some absolute gems for my vinyl collection.The guy behind the music desk was such a lovely bloke to talk to, and the beer selection was superb. I had a lovely local dark beer.A must visit if you're in Skipton and like your beer and your music.
