Chris Tarpey Hypnotherapy at Hypnotherapy Works

I encountered Chris in my search for a solution to eczema, for which there are no clinical cures. She shared my belief that there is a strong mental influence involved and she led me through a series of hypnotherapy sessions to explore this. About six weeks into this the eczema retreated suddenly and almost completely. This coincided with other very positive events in my life, which reinforced my certainty that the change was driven by my very positive frame of mind towards everything, including the defeat of eczema. I can never be certain exactly how it was triggered, but it is quite possible that my frame of mind was being helped by the disciplines that I was adopting from the hypnotherapy.Chris's calm and patient approach throughout made our sessions very easy and productive.

I had a great experience with Chris having a four-session course of hypnotherapy for my arachnophobia. Chris is welcoming and kind and the sessions were information but also very relaxing. By the end of the course I was able to trap a spider myself which is massive progress from being rooted to the spot in terror before! I would definitely recommend Chris and her hypnotherapy.

I highly recommend Chris Tarpey Hypnotherapy. Chris has really helped me to overcome some very difficult feelings stemmed from grief, and has helped me to understand how to process my feelings in a way which enables me to move forward, in a positive and healthy way. I have tried counselling in the past but I personally did not find that useful as it seemed to focus more on the past or problem, rather than being solution focused" like Chris' method of therapy.
