The Airline to Heathrow and Gatwick Airports - from the Oxford Bus Company

Do not use this unless you literally cannot get to the airport any other way.They claim to be at least every 30 minutes but this is basically a lie in my experience.The last trip we took we were waiting over 2 and a half hours for one to arrive.On the return trip we were waiting over an hour until a coach turned up.Seriously unless you can build an extra 3 hours contingency into your plans and are happy to be at Heathrow for 6 hours in the case the coach does arrive on time don't use it.

The Airline bus is perpetually late and cannot be relied on - I waited over 1.5 hours (despite 30 intervals) and the bus was full. Had to take the train despite having paid for a return bus ticket. Very poor service.

Had a very good experience catching the airline from Oxford bus station to Heathrow. Buses in both directions were on time and gave clear notifications of where/ when we were arriving. Buses can get busy and would recommend leaving with plenty of time as can imagine they can get quite delayed due to traffic. Will be using again if I need to get to Heathrow/Gatwick from Oxford.

I'm waiting at Heathrow Terminal 5, stop 10, and I have a complaint.My troubles began when I employed the services of a real airline, British Airways, and arrived in the airport this morning at 11.30 this fine, sunny morning.You might say, well maybe he came from somewhere far away"

Highly recommend this bus transfer from Gatwick to Heathrow. At Gatwick South the bus pulls up just outside of the car rental agencies where the driver places your luggage in the bin corresponding to your stop. The bus itself was new, clean and well equipped with a table, light, air, a curtain to block the sun, as well as a very modern and clean toilet. George, our driver on 21 June 2023, was very professional and a very good driver. My only regret is that I was low on euros and couldn't tip him as much as I would have liked. When I return to London, I wouldn't hesitate to the take The Airline.

I had a good experience with this company, although the bus was 30min delayed from Heathrow to Oxford. Drivers were very attentive and respectful. I also like that you can use your bus ticket 2 hours earlier or after the time that was selected.

This airline bus service has gone down dramatically in the last 2 years. If you travel from Oxford it’s essentially a guess whether the bus will come or not. Even when it say 10 mins, be prepared it can disappear from the screens just like that! If you travel from airports you might be lucky they pitch up but rarely on time.The change to 2 hourly service after midnight is simply not humane. I used to rate this service highly but sadly that’s the past.Since we don’t really have other options except for taxis, I will continue using this suboptimal service and keep the fingers crossed they take example from the Oxf Tube to London. In the meantime, I suggest reducing the price to level with the ‘service’ provided.

Great service. Have used it frequently and it's always my first reintroduction to English friendliness and good service. The range of tickets, online, on the app or from the driver can be confusing.

Horrible experience with the bus driver from Oxford to Heathrow. He identified himself as Norman. Very rude obnoxious driver. He failed to mention Terminal 2 which I told him I was going. He just called Heathrow bus terminal. If you were a first timer how could you know that was supposed to be Terminal 2?I had to go all the way to Getwick and come back. After finding out that I had to do so, I asked him questions like what time the bus will return to Heathrow and stuff but he ignored…Then what came after was even worse. Getting off the bus I was gonna find a cab because that was the only way I could catch my flight. And I tried to take my luggage but then he tried to yank my luggage out of my hand. I held back. Then he told to stay in his bus for unknown fing reasons. The F, you didn’t even know my situation… this guy shouldn’t be in this job period

The utter lack of intelligence was astounding today. The only employee, the driver, brought forward all people with luggage headed to Oxford from Gatwick from a 100+ person line, most of which headed to Heathrow. He did that without acknowledging those at the front of the line or more importantly those who had tickets supposedly assuring seats to their purchased destination ! He didn’t know how to organize the luggage, or the people and made a fairly organized line a total chaotic mess, and took hours to do so! The arrival of the bus was not on time to begin with. The 4:20 never came, the ‘5:20’ arrived at Heathrow at 20:00! There was moderate traffic, but we left Gatwick at 19:00, 2 hours of loading the bus, a total mess. Needless stressful situation was created by the company employee. If I could leave less than one star review, I would.
