The amount of broken glass outside normally indicates something. Bar service is poorly located in a dead end, sorry folks!

Outstanding new bar serving craft ales with the addition of a rum and gin bar too! The decor of this place is outstanding it’s rather elegant and can be described as trendy wine bar meets hipster beer drinker. A fantastic array of beers gins runs on offer together with real quality of service. Love the different spaces dotted around where comfortable seating is available providing the opportunity for social exchanges. Craft is exactly what West Vale as been looking for a high proportion of awesome restaurants now as a awesome bar to go with them.

As an older person I would suggest going earlier in the day/evening. Friendly staff. Great bar with a good selection of drinks however it can get very rowdy with younger people so we avoid later on in the evening.

Given a real lift to the area. Tastefully decorated bars selling good beers and spirits. Nice vibe with occasional live music, separate gin and cocktail bars and showings of classic movies. Happy hour cocktails Thursday till Sunday. What's not to like...

I have been a few time. It has a cosy gin bar in the cellar which has great decor.i like all the different locally brewed beers.staff are knowledgeable and obviously like there job. A good choice of no / low alcoholic beers too. A clean great ale/gin house .

Was pleasantly surprised by this bar. Went for a few drinks after a meal and ended up staying until closing and had a great night. Selection of drinks were great and the prices were good too. Only thing I would say is the music was really loud for a bar, without trying to sound like a 90 year old it didn't ruin my night just would have expected that more from a club rather than a bar. Will be returning though especially to sample more of the beers.

Ok, mixed feelings here. The place and the staff are lovely. Plenty of good seats and there's a great upstairs area to drink and chill. Staff are super friendly and helpful.So why did you give it only four stars, then?Well, for a place called craft, I was kind of expecting a few more beer options. The beers on were fine, but were all pale and not really big on flavours.Maybe they usually have a wider range, but it was a Friday. I was hoping for some good heavy duty 10% stout action or perhaps even a 7% IPA.The place is well worth a visit, but if you've been spoiled by excellent craft ale places, then you need to lower your expectations a little.
