Needed to get my MOT done at pretty short notice. Bar Hill Motors was able to fit me in! I was able to drop my car off before opening as someone was there early, and able to pick up my car after work. MoT was a good price, and they gave clear advice on what needed doing. Excellent garage!

I had a issue with my brakes making a horrible noise, my husband phoned them up and was given a fair price over the phone as to what it may be. Booked in the next day prompt professional and curtuios staff, husband that impressed with there professionalism that we now will use them for both our cars for repairs servicing and mot.

Took my car in to have boot lamp replaced. Had to book it in at 8am, for hourly slots and by 4pm the lamp nor my car hadn't even been looked at, per my follow up call at 2pm. I called time on it. Owner who does the work has a proper KAREN, on the front desk. Car hadn't been looked by 2pm. A one hour job took 5 hours and wasn't even looked at nor done. Owner warned me that I shouldn't piss of 'Karen' on the front desk because 'things' only happen under her control... I was straight into the shop to confront 'Karen' she ironicallywasn't there. Nor was my car. I walked into the workshop and said I'm not leaving until you give me my car back. It appeared. Shop man said to me. Please don't piss of the 'Karen' because it makes it difficult for all of us. I replied you married it or signed up for it. That's on you and not me. I'm the customer end of. Curb your 'Karen' because she seems very malignant regarding customer service.

Friendly, courteous, professional & great value, I wish that I had found them sooner! At the time of writing from my experience for general work they can booked up for 2 weeks in advance, so they must have a good reputation. They are always willing to give quotations which most of the time cannot be beaten.

I can't rate this garage enough, right from the reception staff to the guys in the back themselves. The friendliest and most honest garage I've ever had the pleasure to do business with.The reception staff are lovely, very kind and friendly, make you feel at ease and have a laugh with. They do anything they can to help as I have many a time just dropped in for little things I've needed help with (knocking off my trim mainly lol). Their advice is always helpful and if they can't do something for you they will refer you to another business they have dealt with (I wanted to change my stereo).Being a female I had worried about being taken advantage of in the motoring world, you hear some horror stories; but this business is so honest and fair. I had a Peugeot 106 and ran it into the ground and if everything was alright it always passed it MOT. When I moved up to a KA they often fixed things I had broken or knocked off. When it was on it's last legs I spoke to the manager and he changed some spark plugs and little bits to keep the costs down for me but when it was apparent it was the alternator he had an honest chat and said it wasn't worth the work as it would cost so much and I'd already spent money on it. That honesty was wonderful and when I found my new and current car he booked it in to check it over before the MOT so I could be sure I was driving a safe car.This is a company that goes above and beyond for their customers and will do everything they can to help you and are totally 100% honest with their work.I am a customer for life and can't vouch for them enough! Many of the people I know have switched to them for their brilliant work ethic.

Excellent, honest, helpful local independent. Been taking my cars to them for 15 years and they've always done excellent work and customer service is brilliant. Recommended.

Not all heroes wear capes!!The fabulous group at Bar Hill Motors came to my aid when I needed it the most. After a car fiasco that caused me to seek assistance 2 hours from home and only half way to my destination, with a phone that barely functioned, they not only managed to fit me in, but carried out the repairs immediately, and put a fresh MOT on the car while they were at it.I couldn't shower this garage with enough praise if I tried. It is honestly a shame that I will never see them again. Unless I can find a way to justify making the two hour trip just to get a service.If you're looking for a garage that is honest, trustworthy and upfront about things, look no further.
