I would wholeheartedly recommend Jim Oakley’s adventures. We had a fantastic Coasteering experience with a much broader range of activities than I expected. Jim was very organised arriving early with clean & well maintained kit. He explained all the activities well and helped those of us with less confidences really enjoy themselves. I booked the coasteering experience with Jim because he promised to tailor it to the abilities of myself and my boys all in their late teens and early twenties. Well, Jim certainly didn’t disappoint!We were given the time of our lives, pushing our boundaries to get the best out of us all and having the best 3 hours of full on activities. His knowledge of the area was incredible and this helped massively when pushing us through the stages of the time we had with him. He loved that my boys were open to trying new challenges and even humoured me when I wasn’t quite up to their standards.I can recommend Jim for any activity that you’re interested in. The balance of safety and fun were perfect and were both achieved very successfully, enabling any family or group to have an incredible time.Jim is polite, considerate, clever and extremely funny, this all helps to make everyone feel at ease and comfortable in what they are trying to achieve.We would definitely take part in another experience with him.Thank you Jim, you were an ‘A star’ instructor and worth every single penny.All the best,Julian, Strong boys and of course…Mother Rach.

What a fabulous way to celebrate my daughter’s 15th birthday! Led by Jim’s expert guidance, she & her younger brother did a couple of hours climbing at Henbury followed by coasteering at Dancing Ledge- I was persuaded to join in for that & apart from being shamed by my kids for not being dare devil enough to jump off a 9 meter rock, it was a fantastic experience! Jim is brilliant- really engaging, very experienced & passionate about what he does & knowledgeable on the local area. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him & his team. We had a wonderful climbing experience with Rye. Jim was super responsive and helpful to organize our climbing session on Saturday (we were coming by train from Bournemouth and he arranged everything to make it easy for us). Rye was extremely knowledgeable and it felt super safe to climb with him. He adapted the session to our level and was super friendly. He picked a great climbing spot, and it was a lot of fun. Would absolutely recommend !

An excellent day out, climbing and coasteering. Jim was fantastic-- friendly, engaging and knew his stuff. He brought all the group on, encouraging and challenging along the way. Great fun and thoroughly recommend.

Jim is brilliant, and I can't recommend using his tours enough.There were 11 of us doing his Coasteering tour on a stag do, with varying swimming abilities. Jim was thoughtful, helpful, and just a really good laugh. The coasteering itself was hard but rewarding, with the overall experience great, down to Jim's knowledge and expertise.

We wanted something special for a family day out and Coasteering with Jim did not disappoint. He was really well organised in the preparation, came with clean gear all ready to go, was fun and engaging with adults and kids both on and off the water, and mostly you just felt very safe. Jim’s support was a guy named Buddy (Alan) who was also really engaging and super competent. I would recommend Jim and his team to anyone looking for an engaging and fun filled trip. Thanks Jim

We booked JO adventures for a coasteering experience towards the end of July - the first leg of a full day Stag do!Cannot recommend them enough - Tom, our instructor was excellent and made it a proper adrenaline fuelled experience.
