Our girls loved enjoyed the time they spent with Mark and Nicola. I was less anxious leaving them behind. Thanks to both Mark and Nicola, they sent us loads of updates, videos and pictures of our girls. They also looked happier when we came back home. We will definitely use their service again.

Mark is the perfect cat sitter. He instantly built a rapport with our cat, Tom, and is extremely considerate, friendly, responsible and responsive. With the cat butler taking care of things, you can rest assured that your feline is excellent hands and your house well looked after.

Absolutely no hesitation to give a 5 star review - Nicola and Mark are brilliant and take superb care of our cats.You can tell from the numerous photos and videos they provide just how comfortable our cats are with them, which - especially as one of ours can be a bit nervous - is so reassuring.Not only do they take great care of our boys, but also of our home whilst we are away. From the initial visit they were so thorough, not only making sure they bond with the cats, but also all the smaller details such as gas/water shut off, bin days so they can take the bins out for us etc.Overall, a superb service and generally lovely people - proper cat people who we completely trust and recommend!

I was really nervous about leaving my fur baby for the first time but after Mark and Nikki came over to meet him and him being really relaxed around them both, I felt so much better. The attention to detail on the initial visit was reassuring - I loved that they wanted to know his favourite hiding spots and toys!I got videos and photos of every visit and a little update too so I knew he was ok. I think he now looks for Nikki when it’s playtime! (Especially after he scent marked her shoes on one visit!)I would highly recommend Nikki - I wouldn’t leave my cat with anyone else other than The Cat Butlers!!

From the moment I connected with Mark, Nicola and Susie, I knew my timid cat would be in safe hands. Susie was absolutely wonderful and provided us with regular updates. I honestly thought my cat would never accept another human, but Susie has proven otherwise. Upon return, my cat has been relaxed, loving, playful, and happy which proves the value of human contact. The Cat Butler Oxford is the best cat sitting service I have ever used. Initially, I was nervous about leaving Pan at home, but worries quickly diminished when I met Mark and Nicola who are lovely people and very passionate about pets. Mark sent us daily videos of Pan which helped us put our minds at ease and enjoy our holiday. It’s clear that Mark is very knowledgeable about cats and sensitive to their individual needs. When we got back home, Pan looked very happy and confident. I already booked The Cat Butler for another week.Edit: This other week has come and passed and I remain very impressed by Mark’s ability to build a connection with Pan (who’s not the most affectionate cat) and look after him in a considerate and loving way. He’s truly a cat whisperer and it’s clearly not just a job for him!

We were so impressed with the Cat Butler Oxford-Mark and Nicola.We felt very at ease leaving our 3 cats (Bella, Mia and Ella with the Cat Butler for 1 week as they are rescue cats and are very nervous around strangers but they seemed to be quite at ease when we saw the daily videos of them, it made us feel better knowing they were being very well looked after and time spent with them.Also the house was left very tidy with no fur around as usually I need to clean up every day!We would most definitely recommend and use them again.Thank you Mark and Nicola

The Cat Butler is an excellent service. Our cat is very anxious of travelling and definitely of cat hotels. Having such a service available that is wholly dedicated to looking after your cat and making him or her comfortable in known surroundings is a great relief. Most importantly Cat Butler Oxford, do what they promise to do. They are happy to answer your questions, they come and see you before starting, they read carefully the notes that you have put into the portal, they stay with your cat at least 20 minutes each visit. My cat being very anxious hid away, most of the time. Still, Kate, the lady looking after him, took time to talk near him and have him more comfortable and in the end he was responding to her.I feel, The Cat Butler people care deeply about looking after cats. They focus on making your cat comfortable while you are away and clearly the cat is the priority for them. So they will, for example, not impose themselves on your cat if she/ he feels unsociable but will make every effort to make sure they know they are not alone.Their regular update videos and picture updates are a great comfort, more so, is knowing that you have dedicated people that will make sure your cat is fed, has clean trays, is looked after and in a case of emergency will be treated. I can highly recommend Mark ( the leader of Cat Butler Oxford) and Kate who took great care looking after my cat.

Mark has been wonderful right from the start! He is very thorough and caring and we came back home to very happy cats! All of the photo and video updates are brilliant and are a great peace of mind while away. We will certainly use his services again in the future.

My 2 boys are house cats are quite nervous and we know they get stressed out going to a cattery. Cat Butler was the perfect solution so they could stay at home while we were away. They don't normally like strangers but after a couple of days they were won over, playing and wanting fusses. It was lovely to get regular updates about how they were doing, gave me real peace of mind. Already have them booked up again!
