Virgin Active Outdoor Pool

Great gym and great pool .It feels a little dated these days but is continually being modernised. Parking can be a problem at times but other than that excellent gym, classes and instructors.

Great place to train and enjoy with the family

This Virgin Active club is very well equipped, with a good indoors gym and 3 swimming pools. The gym equipment is Technogym and EPS branded, with a new open plan area set up in April 2017 for group and individual training. Some strongman equipment, but very light, as this is a mainstream health club. 2 Squat racks, 8 barbells, about 40 cardio machines, including treadmills, rowing, escalators and stationary bicycles.There is an indoors swimming pool for children, a 25 (or 20m) indoors pool for adults and another outdoors pool (25m I think). Additionally, the spa area has a hydro massage pool, sauna, sanarium and steam room nearby. Next to the outdoors pool there's a plunge pool and a larger traditional-looking sauna.The size of the car parking can easily be seen from the aerial images. Staff I've met there is always pleasant and helpful. I've been a member of Virgin Active for +7 years, having trained at more than 10 different clubs. Solihull is among the top 3 I've visited.There is no parking attendant as the previous review (probably a fake or troll) suggests. There's overflow parking with space for more than 100 cars around the corner.
