Lovely little gem, very relaxing after doing the jack scout walk, delicious homemade cakes and scones, fully recommend.

The cafe was closed because it was too popular! They had no food left after a busy Bank Holiday followed by a half term of glorious weather. We'll come back to assess whether it is actually as food as it promises to be!

Lovely stop, a chance to sit down and have a coffee and a cake. They do a selection of amazing cakes, and the bacon sandwich was lovely. Take a walk down the lane for lovely views

Lovely location with pretty garden and calming feel all round, however we were not welcomed and found staff a bit rude. The cafe wasn’t crazy busy, 3 other tables in use but we received no hello or greeting when entering, I wasn’t told how much my order was before paying on my card, I was just shown a card reader with no thank you after paying, then when we went to say goodbye and thank you and were ignored after saying it twice.Bacon butty however was yummy

When I give 5 stars for atmosphere it will mean a different thing for you, perhaps. I like silence & nature & the countryside. This place is that. The staff were very nice & the sausage ciabatta I had was tasty. Really good coffee too. It's a rustic cafe with a limited menu but it's absolutely perfect for where it is. Not really suited for wheelchair users due to the whole area being a bit uneven & bumpy. Parking is always (when I've been) very hit or miss. There's a few dedicated places but most people park on the verge, which frankly needs to be stopped because it's turning it into a mud bath. The cafe has indoor, outdoor & limited outdoor covered seating. It's nice to sit outside on a sunny day & listen to the birds singing. From the cafe it's a short walk to Jenny Brown's Point (see my separate review for that).

Contrary to reviews I'd read here, I found the staff very friendly and service was polite, professional and prompt. They made a fuss of my dog and provided a water bowl. I only had coffee and a scone but no problems with service or attitude whatsoever.Quite often it's the energy you take with you that resonates through your personal encounters.

£31 for 3 sausage rolls, a side salad, slice of quiche, can of coke and a coffee ?? Disgusting prices!!!No menu, which is never available, probably due to having to put prices on legally.Be aware!!

Hidden gem. Just tucked away we found this lovely place. It was stunning, the weather was warm so we took the opportunity to sit outside. The flowers and wildlife were beautiful. The girls greeted us well even though they were busy. They answered all our questions and delivered our drinks to the table. The hot food was limited today, cakes were amazing certainly lots of choices and hot chocolate hit the spot. Of course we followed it all up with some ice cream again lots of choices of flavours. The cutest little childrens area which everyone made the most of.I will definitely be visiting again
