Went for a Sunday roast for mum’s birthday. Lovely grub, great service. Brilliant deal on the roast platter and bottle of wine for £25!

We only went to this pub because we had been let down at our planned place. We were so glad. The staff were welcoming and friendly whilst maintaining efficient service. We were served hearty pub grub at very reasonable prices. Hats off.

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch, vegetarian, I was informed it would take a little longer as they would do the roast potatoes. I was very impressed. Warm & friendly, homemade food, delicious deserts. Dog friendly. Really great experience. Can’t wait to return ❤️❤️❤️

I changed from my usual (Lasagne = the Holy grail) reluctantly to try the Korean bbq chicken and egg fried rice from the specials menu. And I was not disappointed. It was delicious!! Hopefully it will be on the specials frequently! X

The food here is gorgeous. Home made style instead of the usual 'mass produced'. Chips were fantastic. Meals were good size and value for money. Large choice. Of drinks and not over priced Staff are very accommodating. Inside and outside area . Very pleasant evening.

A summery Monday lunch and we popped in to grab a bite to eat.Staff were very nice, lots of choice to order from the menu and beer was spot on too!Garden had good shade and was well kept.A great local pub with lots to offer.

Great food, you might have to wait a little bit .. but if you want decent food and home cooked chips (rather than oven chips) then you will enjoy.
