Not just a nice place for a quick pint or a G&T in the interval, the Cellar Bar also hosts monthly comedy nights that are well worth a visit.

Intimate bar underneath the Arts Centre , hosts regular events , gigs , poetry performances , small plays . Also after selected films an informal cinema discussion is held to talk over that evenings show , (expertly run by Ben) .Staff always friendly and helpful, very reasonable prices at the bar.Just recently held the 25th Anniversary Film Quiz.

The Cellar Bar at Stamford Arts Centre
Always has a good real ale on hand pump unlike the vaults and Melbourne Brewery both Sam Smiths pubs in Stamford who have taken the hand pump out and only serve horrid keg beer. Can you believe it! What a backward step.
