Aiden McDonnell Hairdressing

I've been goign to Aiden for years, so has my partner and now our 2 young children!! He's friendly, chatty, knowledgeable and accomodating and I've never been disappionted!! Definitely recommend it!

Beautiful salon. I went for a trim and colour, Aiden took the time to understand what I really wanted and was lovely to spend time with. My hair has never felt this soft! Highly recommend!

Aiden- is a brilliant, highly skilled hairdresser- I wouldn’t go anywhere else to have my hair cut. He really understands hair and values the client experience. I recently had my hair cut from shoulder length to very short (pixie style) - I trusted Aiden 100% and he did a fabulous cut, I’m so pleased. I love my new look- thanks again Aiden.

Have been going to have my hair done to Aiden's since he opened. I would not go anywhere else. He isFriendly, professional and always cuts my naturally curly hair beautifully. Good colour and highlights too.

Got my hair cut here the other day aiden was nice. The hairdressers is just a few chairs at the back of a gift shop, but once I got home I realised that my hair had been cut noticeably wonky, which was particularly upsetting considering I had paid £62

Definitely recommend this hair stylist. I've been going to him for 5 years and plan to continue even though I've moved house. I arrive looking like death warmed up and leave looking like I'm 25 again. Definitely fallen on my feet there.

What a great find! Aiden is so welcoming and makes you ferl so relaxed. I am so pleased with my hair- i took aidens recommendation and wow! I am so chuffed with the colour. The best mt hairs looked in ages. A grest talented hairdresser and im hard work, fussy etc thanks aiden...defo see u soon x

Felt duped.I had been with a hairdresser with a well known salon for almost 10 years. I usually go 3-4 times a year for trim and style.When my hairdresser left last year, didn’t feel like going back and went to a local stylist. Booked on the phone based on these reviews.I was a bit taken aback as this wasn’t just a salon but two chairs behind a gift shop. I had to wait for him to arrive. Shampoo/ conditioner used were cheap. Not salon worthy. I asked to cut 3 inches and just give some layers which he did but it was more than 3 inches off . But it’s only hair and it’ll grow. The products used to blow dry were also cheap and smelt like an old spray thick and sticky. And I came out with 90s big blow dry.While I was there a lady probably in her 80s came to check her appointment. I believe that’s his usual clientele. Nothing wrong. My mistake for not checking.I was debating whether to tip. No need.He charged an astronomical £75 for it. I felt taken advantage of. The lad in the shop looked at him in surprise. One of the machine only took £45, I was asked to used the other. Shame.I won’t be going back.If you are looking for modern products, modern styling , please give this place a miss.
