High Lane Garage

I don't normally award 5 stars in reviews but this is an excellent garage. Staff are lovely. I have bought and sold cars to this garage and always received a very fair price. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The HLG team are great! Peters customer service was second to none. He was patient and kind and made sure we had what we needed in a car. There was no pushy sales pitch which was fab and we had plenty of time to make sure this was the right decision for us. Complete professionaliam throughout. All questions answered and any concerns promptly addressed. Peter is very honest and a gentleman. A great experience from start to finish. I would have complete confidence in buying again from High Lane Garage.

Just purchased a car from High Lane Garage. Absolute pleasure from start to finish dealing with both Peter and Margaret who provided good old fashioned traditional service which is hard to find these days. Would not hesitate to buy a car from here in the future and would highly recommend to anybody in the market for a second hand car.

Thoroughly recommend High Lane Garage. Recently bought my first car from them on the strength of personal recommendations and their reputation in the village (even though I no longer live there) - travelling there to make my purchase was definitely worth it and gives complete peace of mind. My car was a very reasonable price - not the absolute cheapest - but it's definitely worth going there knowing you're not going to get sold a dud or be completely ripped off. They seem to have a lot of low mileage cars if this is what you're looking for, and quite a high turnaround of stock despite having a relatively small forecourt.All of the team are so friendly and helpful - I obviously ended up speaking to Peter the most who does everything he can in going the extra mile to make you happy and comfortable, and also ended up speaking to Adge, Margaret and Phil (sorry if I got any names wrong) who were each amazing in answering any queries (or going away to find out answers if they didn't know) - all really happy to help and very knowledgeable. They even call you back when they say they will! I think Lindsay completed my paperwork though I didn't speak to her, but this little team who work there are all wonderful and I'm so grateful to all of them.In the interests of being 100% genuine, I did think I had a couple of issues with the car but these were partially user error (I couldn't pull up the handbrake enough due to lack of strength maybe, and a small gear box issue but it was only me who couldn't quite get it to work) and Peter worked hard to book me into their garage at a time that suited me. The issues are now fixed - thanks to Steve at the garage who didn't make me feel stupid and listened to my problems. He slackened off the handbrake to make it perfect for me to use and managed to improve the gearbox issue somehow too even though that seemed to be a me" problem.Peter made sure I was completely happy with my car even though I told him my issues about a month after purchase

It was a pleasure dealing with HLG when recently selling my car to them. Very fair price and very accommodating also. Would not hesitate dealing with Peter and the team again!
