Baynes has been around since 1954 really good pies and sausage rolls. And the pastry selection is mouthwatering

I'd love to have said it was worth the stop. But sadly the best thing was my coffee.... roll were hard got one slice of bacon half cooked on my massive roll wouldn't recommend.

Can be busy in the morning but plenty of choice

Tasty eats, and friendly staff, plus good coffee, all at very reasonable prices. They also do a great job in providing a covid safe environment in their shop. Well done.

I am most annoyed. I went into this store this morning, which I will never go into again. To buy a morning roll for 30p, I had a £2 coin and a 50p coin, I handed over the £2 coin as I needed the 50p for something else. I was given the change of 50p when I queried it I was told that there were no £2 coins in the till and they flatly refused to believe me. It wasnt as if I had handed over a note. They will check at the end of the day to see if they are over I doubt it as they said there was no £2 coin in the till. Has it vanished into thin air? I have my own opinions on the matter. Please customers tell them what you are handing over to them and check your change. Last time I ever shop at their or at any Baynes shop.

Love baynes, filled rolls are unbelievable. In fact I'm feeling hungry now I might nip down !

Stopped off to get some lunch. A warm steak slice - lovely pastry, not greasy, tender steak chunks in gravy. Cream filled fudge donuts are equally, great quality. Recommended family bakery.
