Micaela is PHENOMENAL!!! It was such a pleasure to have her capture the most important day of our lives in the states! She was very responsive and easy to work with. Her photos are FANTASTIC and she truly captured the essence of this moment for us :) Thank you so much Micaela!!

Micaela photographed our wedding back in June and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to book a photographer for any occasion. Micaela was doing more than just taking photos on our day, she was helping us to plan our timings, giving us advice (as she knows way more about weddings than us!!) she really helped me to keep calm and relaxed - she could see when I was getting a bit wobbly before I would notice and she would help to distract me and keep me in the moment! Micaela helped us to have moments just the two of us throughout our day that we would have struggled to have without her help! When we got our photos back we were blown away with how much she managed to capture! Micaela managed to capture every little detail from throughout the whole day, capturing so much emotion! Our photos are absolutely beautiful and we will cherish them forever! After our wedding we used Micaelas website to order gallery boards and thank you cards and the quality of these were amazing! Our next task is to create our wedding album on her website and we can’t wait to see how that turns out! Micaela was an absolute gem to work with so we definitely recommend hiring her. We got in touch with her VERY last minute (we're talking 4 days before the ceremony) as we were umming and ahhing about getting a professional photographer. Turned out it was the best decision we made - besides getting registered haha - and money well spent!Micaela spent lots of time getting to know us as a couple, even though we didn't have much at that point, and giving us tips on what we could do on the day in terms of scheduling and photographs. I immediately loved talking to her; she's just so friendly, really knowledgeable and such a calm person. She helped turn a could-have-been stressful day into one were we could relax and enjoy, knowing there was someone to help provide directions ;) Even my husband was at ease having his photos taken by Micaela, which was a miracle in itself!The final photos came out beautifully, as we expected, and everyone in our family has been so impressed by them, as well as Micaela's professionalism and skill. All in all, we recommend her wholeheartedly.

Micaela is a fantastic photographer to work with and we couldn't be happier with our wedding photos! Micaela takes the time to get to know you and listens to your vision, as well as providing really helpful, practical advice! Being people who don't feel particularly comfortable having photos taken, we were a bit worried about the photo part of our wedding day but Micaela made us feel completely at ease. Micaela is an absolute DREAM! Please don’t look any further. She photographed our wedding weekend in Italy and did a phenomenal job. All of our guests are commenting on how we have the most beautiful wedding photos they’ve ever seen, and also how wonderful she interacted with them throughout the weekend.Micaela has a meticulous “onboarding” (so to speak) process, so that she really understands what is important to you for her to capture, and truly takes the time to get to know you as a couple. Not only did she capture us as a couple, but she got beautiful shots of our wedding details, our guests, and captured the entire vibe through her photos. She also was a MASSIVE help in creating our schedule for the day, and gave us lots of tips for timing and flow of events. She’s pretty much a photographer and wedding coordinator all in one!We initially felt awkward about taking our more staged shots, so Micaela lightened the mood with jokes and provided lots of direction - ultimately allowing us to have so much fun with the process, and you can tell how much fun we’re having when you see the photos.We cannot thank you enough, Micaela!!

Micaela is amazing and we are so glad we booked her as our wedding photographer. We couldn't be happier with the pictures, she completely understood what kind of vibe we wanted with the pictures (fun, with as little cheesy posing as possible!) and totally delivered. Besides the pictures, she is a lovely person and was a super calming presence on the day. Micaela is absolutely wonderful! We had a small, intimate wedding and she beautifully captured our day! She is very organised, responsive and a lovely human being! I love the composition of her images and the way she manages to capture people's emotions.Micaela really helped us plan the day, which was great. We could not have imagined a better photographer for our wedding and we are blown away by how beautifully Micaela captured the emotion and joy of our wedding day. Beyond the photos (they speak for themselves) there were many other ways Micaela went above and beyond and that really set her apart. Right from the start, she was incredibly supportive of our wishes for our wedding (even the non-traditional things). She is responsive and organised, and all our communication leading up to the day was seamless. She helped us talk through our timeline and was so patient in answering all our questions. She also kept a list of every type of photo we wanted (and not a single one of those shots was missed!)On the day itself, Micaela went above and beyond, doing so many things outside the job description of ‘photographer’ (eg, constantly helping with my veil, having extra pins on hand, efficiently directing and managing guests, even helping us hail a cab!). She was great at corralling our unwieldy family to get all the portrait shots we wanted (including a group photo with everyone!). At the same time, she completely blended in to the background for amazing candids! Perhaps most importantly, she made it her priority to give us time to enjoy ourselves. She recognised that our bride/groom photo session was some of the only time we’d get just the two of us, and made sure this time was so much fun and enjoyable. She was always reminding us to be present and take in the moment, and in the blur of the day that went by so fast, I am so grateful she gave us these reminders. The time we spent taking our bride/groom photos with Micaela are some of my favourite memories of the whole day. Thank you so much to Micaela for capturing our wedding day - we are eternally grateful!!

We were lucky enough to have Micaela be the one to photograph our wedding back in July. Micaela made the whole process so smooth and stress free from the planning stage to the actual day.
