I am fussy! I like quality. This was the best Sunday lunch I’ve ever had. Not only was the food perfect, there was lots of it! All home made, all fresh. The service was great, attentive and friendly. The pub itself is really nice and I really appreciate how hard they are working to make it appealing to everyone. I will 100% be eating here again!

“Went in with friends today after a lovely walk around the lordship, we ordered coffee and cake. I sampled the trio of desserts with my coffee and it did not disappoint. I am not a crème brûlée fan but yours has converted me it was so creamyThank you “

Absolutely stunning country pub.Welcomed with a smile and friendly staff. They have a wide range of carefully selected ales and beers all chilled and served to perfection.A great little stop over if your ever passing through. Well worth a visit you'll not be disappointed

Went here for lunch with the first outing with my newborn baby at a week old! The redecoration is lovely and it was a very calm environment, perfect for mine and babies first outing. Food was really good, I like the small menu as everything is then cooked well. Had a chocolate melt in the middle thing for dessert which was absolutely to die for!! Will 100% be back and intend to try out Sunday dinner.

Such a lovely pub with a very warm friendly atmosphere, all the staff are very welcoming and the Sunday lunch we had was absolutely amazing! Best I’ve ever had! Will defo be back!

We recently got married at Wistow Church across the road from the pub and the staff were so incredibly kind! They allowed us to use their garden for some pictures and even gave us a complimentary glass of fizz. Truly lovely pub with lovely people

Absolutely delicious food, French inspired menu that didn't disappoint. Food was hot and so tasty (and plentiful) service was great. The Black Swan in Wistow has been revived. Will definitely return.

Excellent service, great beer and really hot food. Belly buster full English mid-day was amazing, so well cooked. A friendly pub and such a service for the village.

Having lived in the village for a good few years, I’ve seen a various landlords come and go. But never have I felt more welcomed and appreciated than with the current people.The beer is top-notch - they look after their pipes and it shows, I’m yet to find a better pint of Landlord anywhere else.The staff are warm and welcoming, making in effort to greet you and engage in chit-chat.Honestly it’s everything you could want from a local village pub. Highly, highly recommended.
