A great place for promoters. A really well managed team of people who all want the best for the event. Nothing too much trouble and all working for the same outcome.

Ok place. Seating good, if you're seeing music acts as space to dance etc.However, people up and down buying drinks throughout the show is bloody annoying as is the ignorant, rude people, who sit chatting throughout.Why pay to see an act and chat throughout? Spoils it for those who came to listen. Not to mention disrespectful to the acts.Its meant to be a theatre, not a social club. Maybe they should stop selling drinks when acts start. Then sell again at interval. Announce before show for enjoyment of others be quiet, like they do in cinemas!

Amazing concert - Midge Ure and India Electric. Staff were lovely. However audience on the balcony were chatting loudly during the support act. Not fair on the group. Someone should have asked them to be quiet.

Saw Ac/Dc tribute band dirty dc at the meca and there's nothing bad to say about the venue. Good acoustics, no long queues for the bar or loos. What's not to like?!

We went to Swindon's Oktoberfest at thr Mecca for the afternoon session and it was loads of fun. The main band was brilliant and really got the crowd going. Unfortunately the one man band wasn't that great vocally. The beer and food was good but a bit on the pricey side. Overall it was a brilliant experience and we will definitely go again.

Lovely building with great vintage decor. Big open venue, which was pleasantly warm.Drinks are on the pricey side but a good selection of snacks at a reasonable price.

With almost no notice the Swindon Meca put on a great show tonight with #bikes&banter. Tommy Bridewell and Shakey Byrne were legends tonight! Well done to all!!!

I travelled there to see Katie Hopkins that the local press, politicians and red street rabble tried to stop. Full marks to the venue for standing up to the intimidation/cancel culture and allowing 700 of us to have a fabulous night being entertained by an outspoken brave woman.
