After looking around the makers markets for a Christmas present I stumbled upon the Ancoats Distillery. The gentleman I spoke to was very knowledgeable and you could really tell he cared about the product he was making after a great chat he took me through his collection of artisan Gins and recommended the signature Gin. Which went down an absolute storm at Christmas!

I bought a bottle of Ancoats signature gin at the Lymm makers market and both my husband and myself absolutely love this gin, it has a really fresh and peppery after taste, it’s lovely. Will definitely be buying more. The bottle is nice too

I bought a bottle from the Food and Drink festival. The owner (whose name escapes me) was really passionate about his product and our Ancoats community. A real credit.The gin is wonderful too. I should know; I'm supping it as I type!

Went to purchase on their website, but delivery was obscenely expensive. I was spending £91.90 with them, live less than 10 miles away, but postage was £12.40. Went and bought from Four Sisters Distillery instead who offer free shipping and are also a local distillery.

Bought Bengal IPA ale, which it states is gluten free, on the label it says contains barley and wheat. No explanation on the website so no idea whether it is or not.
