Jen Jen’s Caribbean kitchen

I've been eating here since it has opened, the food is really nice. The meat of curry goat and stew beef is really tender and the sauce finishes off the taste.My favourite has to be the BBQ wing and the jerk burger. You have to go and try either. All portions are big which makes it a really good value for money.I would highly recommend eating here you will not be disappointed.

Amazing food - so good we went twice in two days.One of the best goat curries we've had in a long time!Proper authentic Caribbean food with as proper friendly family feel - you don't find dumplings many places!Even when they forgot the dumplings on the first day, they were so apologetic and made up for it the next day.It's worth noting the curries are cooked so low and slow that it falls off the bone so easily that you may get the odd bit of bone to pick out, but it's worth it!

Collected goat curry yesterday and it was absolutely delicious probably the best carabean curry I've ever had. Will be calling every week now, keep up the good work

Can’t rate Jen Jen’s highly enough! The jerk chicken, rice n pea with that heavenly jerk sauce.. no words.The honey buffalo wings are to die for. I tried to replicate them at home… safe to say no where near as nice as jens.Iv also tried the jerk burger… 10/10Chips.. nice and crispy, no complaints.Very clean, good atmosphere inside, good music. Few spots to park outside the shop while you eat. This food is good for the soul. Can’t wait to go again.

Food was so delicious i will absolutely be ordering again. Portions are really generous. I was able to have my main for dinner and lunch the next day.Food was bursting with flavour, arrived piping hot (i had to wait for it to cool down slightly).

Very tasty food. Very pleasant staff. If this was a large restaurant it would be full to the rafters every day. Its basically a takeaway with a couple of tables but you must give them a try.

Walked in and ordered food wasn't given anytime that would be ready after a hour passing a man came and said they had ran out of curried chicken and I could get something else or my money back, why not say this when ordering and having me sitting for a hour in the red hot. So decided to go for a stewed beef. No communication between any one no appolagy, finally after another 45 minutes of waiting for stewed beef, that being 1 hour 45 minutes all together, written this whilst in my car waiting not a clue what the food is like yet but it's a 1 star for the mess around and would of given a 0 star of possible. Edit. Got home to bottom of bag filled with grease not a problem but not ideal when the bag is paper luckily i looked and didnt hold via the handle. Stewed beef bland full of bones no taste or spice. Chicken wings were in polyester box wrapped in cling film. Soft and soggy once again not one bit of seasoning. Mac and cheese same no seasoning. Only decent part was the dumpling bog old dumplings just a Petty they was nothing to dip it in too as the stewed beef might aswell being stewed bone with rice and peas. To be honest rice and peas wasn't too bad. Would not recommend. Not only the nearly 2 hour wait. The food was bland who ever is cooking clearly ain't tasting before selling and if they are then they have no taste buds one big let down from Jens

Ordered from Jen Jens last week on the way back home from a weekend away with the missus. We had 2x curry goat with dumplings. On collection I met with one of the owners and had a great chat, he was friendly and made me feel welcomed. There was a little wait for the food but didn't mind as I knew everything would be fresh. The food didn't disappoint and I'll be ordering again tonight for me and the missus! Definitely earned a new loyal customer! Respect to the Jen Jen team.
