Lovely venue, well looked after as a disabled customer, the gig area is a really cool space with great sound and lighting and a decent capacity.

Really disappointing experience. I’d had this on my list of places to check out for ages and then ended up there for a gig on Friday so decided to grab some food and a drink before. The seating options were a bit poor as all of the proper chairs and tables were grouped up so for 2 of us there wasn’t much space without sharing a table or sitting on high bar stool seating. We ended up sitting on some of the lower seats which weren’t ideal for a meal (and still ended up needing to share the table as it got busier).I was also quite shocked at the prices - I paid £50 for 2 burgers, 2 fries, a side of deep fried potato slices (only 3 on the plate) and 2 drinks. I didn’t mind paying this as I thought it would mean good quality food but unfortunately the burger came out and I couldn’t eat it as it was pink throughout (no option to choose how it was cooked during checkout). It arrived super quick which I was initially impressed with but as soon as I started eating it I realised it was so quick since it was barely cooked. They also hadn’t brought the dip we paid for or the potato slices and I needed to ask for both of these to be brought out around 10 minutes after our mains were delivered. I returned the burger to be cooked more as I physically couldn’t eat it and then was left waiting for around 15/20 minutes which meant my brother had finished his whole meal by the time mine arrived (though he did end up with a really rough stomach for the rest of the evening after eating his pink burger).The gig venue itself was lovely and a really good space for live music (and it wasn’t too much of a queue at the bar thankfully).I’d definitely return for more gigs but would find somewhere else for a meal beforehand.

Pretty venue. Good with accessibility. Just really really really cold. Felt colder than outside in the concert area. Really good lights. Talented light technician and really friendly staff. No complaints except for the temperature.

Lovely space for food. Really relaxed vibe with a great selection of food vendors and also good choice of drinks at the bar too.

Went here to see Calexico. Great venue for gigs. Good size, holds around 1,300. Decent sound and atmosphere.

Had an absolutely fabulous time. It's a lovely venue - the lighting in the ceiling is amazing. There is a great view of the stage wherever you are and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I went with my friend to watch Electric 6. The show was excellent and the sound quality was loud and clear. I didn't get anything to drink myself but my friend was queuing at the bar for nearly 10 minutes and got herself a can of Red Bull and can of Hooch. My biggest complaint is that the staff were a bit too keen to get everyone out as soon as the music was over. I would come back if there was another band I like and maybe to try some of the food in the food hall. The building itself and the surrounding area looked very nice and well maintained.

This was my first visit to New Century Hall. The first of many hopefully. The sound was brilliant, the bar well-stocked and the staff friendly. The gig was Jockstrap who were in fine form an well worthawatch.The hall itself has a 1970s vibe but has been modernised to make it a great place for gigs. There is a food hall downstairs with a decent bar and a number of venues for a drink nearby.

A great choice of food and drinks. There is bound to be something available to suit most tastes. Order and pay from your table using their app and the wonderfully friendly and helpful staff will bring it to you. There are tables outside too that allow you to enjoy the fantastic Manchester weather.
