From the minute we dropped in, I knew we’d be using the floor store for our carpets as they are so professional and knowledgeable! We faffed about choosing and taking samples home and they were more than happy to accommodate this and gave us loads of really useful advice. The fitting is perfect and they really take pride in their work. We will definitely be going back for any future flooring we need. It’s so refreshing to meet tradespeople who aren’t just trying to money grab or cut corners!

Went to floor store today. Doors locked but lady inside (older, short bob) saw me trying the door and instead of offering help walked off.I called to ask how I could get in and I assume it was the same woman who said we are closed. I had to ask when they would be back open as she didn’t volunteer the information and she said they were closed until the new year. Terrible customer service. Avoid.Edit to respond to owners comment: I’m sorry you had bad news and that the staff member was unhappy but regardless that should not affect customer service. You seem a little confrontational in your response which re-enforces my point regarding customer service.The shutters were not down on the big glass doors but the door was locked. The lady did see me trying the door, she looked directly at me, stopped in her tracks and then obviously decided she couldn’t be bothered and walked off. Hopefully she will realise that bad customer service can lead to bad reviews and improve going forwards.

Amazing service all round.I have used The Floor Store twice before and again recently, and I couldn't be happier with their work.Brilliant advice and assistance from Joanne at the store when choosing my flooring types and quality work by Mike at the house when laying the flooring - fast and tidy too. Couldn't be happier with the end results!Would recommend these guys to anyone looking for any type of flooring for their home or business - 5 star service!

Brilliant service from start to finish the ladies in the shop advised me on the best carpet as I wanted something suitable for both stairs and bedrooms. They got the carpets fitted super quick and even fit my bedroom first as I was having a bed delivered the same day. The fitting is brilliant cant fault it! Would 100% recommend. Thanks again we love our carpets!

I've had carpets and laminate from The Floor Store, always excellent quality at great prices. Brilliant service from the staff in store, very welcoming and helpful. The chaps that fitted my flooring don't mess about either. They get the job done, and they do it good! Always super happy with their service and wouldn't use anybody else.

The most lovely and knowledgeable people you could ever wish to do business with. Jo is so friendly and gives really helpful guidance to what is most suitable for you and your home and Mike was so fast and diligent in his work, its flawless. I would recommend them to anyone.

We had our bedroom carpet fitted last week and we couldn't be happier with it. The service from walking through their door to them walking out of our door was amazing. The fitters were fast and professional and even tidied up the off cuts and bagged them up. The quality and price of the carpet is great. And the after care service is lovely, ensuring we were happy with everything. I was recommended them by a friend and will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

We are more than happy with our new flooring and carpet. Mike did an amazing job with our LVT herringbone pattern, he put so many hours in to get the job done and the result was stunning. Really great service from start to finish and we will definitely be going back there.
