Yodel

This company is perhaps the worst of a bad bunch of courier services. You get notification of your delivery either after its been delivered or part way between the schedule times so can not make appropriate steps to be in or sort alternatives. Plus you get fobbed off by couriers saying they've tried delivering when they haven't. Cameras prove they haven't. Can't get through to anyone to try and sort out. It's an absolute shower. Why do companies use them to send items. Rant over they are rubbish!!!!

Very poor service. Email notifications contradicted themselves on the whereabouts of my parcel. Claimed that they tried to deliver despite me being at home all day and I heard nothing. Driver failed to leave any attempt of delivery cards. I wanted to leave a safe place as I knew they would try again to deliver but I was to be out. It would not let me leave a safe place.Tried again the next day to find it had been delivered with no card as to where. I had to call customer service to locate the parcel which was a robot, not reassuring at all. It told me which neighbour it was with but isn’t beside the point. I DO NOT recommend this service.

I must have been lucky today, reading the comments below, but they delivered my parcel knocking at the door and in time. The lady took a picture as proof of delivery and done. Thank you driver!

Yet another car crash of a Yodel…Yet another car crash of a Yodel delivery in Sheffield. Supposed to be delivered this morning, driver ignored and went his own route. He is currently parked up at home as the tracking is still going and he hasn’t moved for an hour. Maybe I should just go to his house and deliver my item to myself! Appalling company. Tracking stated delivery to our business at 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Not exactly business hours. Tracking then stated they needed address details, live chat unavailable as usual. Following day, stated delivery at 5.30pm to 7.30pm, again out of business hours. Parcel eventually turned up a week late. Impossible to speak to anyone. AVOID.

Severe lack of communication and the proper whereabouts of my delivery more than once. You call the phone number and all you get is automated service . Can't get any proper information with regards your delivery status. Will not ever recommend. No calling card left when I was out etc. Dire company!

Seriously no exaggeration the worst service ever experienced in my 45 years on planet, delivery date due Friday up to now over a full day of my time wasted both waiting for package not to arrive and also the many many online chats and phone call to Yodels 'advisors' not to mention the expense of a special 30 mile round trip in complete vain, everytime get promised delivery tomorrow and it never comes, ask to speak to a manager best they can do is ask them to call you back which they never do, despite all the problems and complaints the latest reasoning given was no drivers were going in the area, pretty much central Chesterfield... really!!! is this even a delivery company? you'd think given all the complaints they'd make damn sure a driver was going out that way but they have no care to customers, my advice would be if ordering anything that states uses Yodel stay well clear and businesses use someone different or you'll open yourself for bad reviews on the basis of the shoddy courier you choose to use. update it's now Tuesday and best I can hope is it may turn up tomorrow.

Said they had attempted delivery three times and failed each time. The first time they range me and I was at work so was not able to collect the parcel. The other two times was at home the whole day and received no call and it said on the app that delivery was attempted and failed. They also said they had left a calling card each time which was not true. Tried to get in touch with Yodel and they were not able to help me. So basically £50 (£45 parcel + £5 delivery fee) gone just like that.

Just had a delivery.Well what do I say ?Opened the door and I said oh thankyou my dog food!didn't know it was coming today I'm so happy. Thanku.The yodel driver then muttered something in a foreign language and picked up dog food shook his head and walked off to road with my dogfood.. I shouted hey what you doing bring it back please.He then came back muttered something like you (can't say the words)and went off and revved the van and sped off.Well what a strange delivery that wasa very angry man. Or demented.

Absolutely dreadful! Drivers lie that they have attempted to deliver when they havent, customer service lies as they tell you its on the van for delivery the next day when it isnt. Tracking doesnt get updated or tells you a fairy tale. This is my 2nd item to go 'missing' never to be seen again. I find this very strange because if there is a tracking number they should know exactly where it is! Would give minus stars if I could.
