The food was wonderful - really tasty! We had the sharing platter to start - gorgeous! Chicken satay and Singapore noodles for our main. Had loads of leftovers to take home. The wine was gorgeous and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend this place.

This place is great and no surprise why many people call it the best Chinese In Edinburgh. It is a bit more pricy than others but the food quality is amazing. Staff are extremely friendly too and would recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely staff, well mannered and smiley. The food was okay, the tofu was the best, the rice was fluffy but rice meals and the glass noodle dish lacked a lot of flavour, the fried tofu was lovely though with spices. It's a very expensive restaurant for food that doesn't taste as good as take away, the nice thing was the food wasn't that greasy. But definitely not worth as much as we paid

Ordered a take away for the first time. Partners food seemed nice enough. But I requested honey chilli sauce on the shredded chicken. I find it strange the sauce come seperatly and if I looked closer at the menu it says 'with' and not 'in' the sauce. And to call it sauce, it was as thin as water and just ran off the chicken completely. Usually honey set in some way so I think it was sugar water or something else other than honey in this. Therefore the chicken just tasted plain.Shame they don't cook it in the sauce, although with as thin as this was I doubt it would have made any difference.Was looking forward to trying here as I've heard good things.I wasn't keen on the salt and pepper chips either. Very soggy.

Very good food and great portions, when we first ordered and looked at the prices we thought it was a little steep, and we feel like we didn’t order enough, starters, rice to share and 1 main each!It was more than enough and we were both stuffed. Great restaurant, friendly happy staff.

We enjoyed everything offered in Cool Jade - food, wine and hospitality. Great Cantonese cuisine, I wouldn’t refer the dishes as 100% authentic but we have just been satisfied with the quality, and the choices of compliments with the meat could not be more apt.Don’t miss the ice-cream, they are brilliant! Most staff could speak Cantonese, and they were very welcoming.

First time here for dinner and honestly one of the best Chinese meals I have had. So hot and fresh. Super tasty. Will be back and will definitely be coming here for takeaway from now on. Service great and friendly. Makes such a difference getting hot plates and food coming out piping hot. Can tell food cooked fresh. Delicious food. Would recommend
