We started with a set of chairs from Charles, I've also done a course with him and asked him to make two beds for us.His standard of work is outstanding, he is a hand tool craftsman and we will cherish these items until we die, then they will likely be passed to our children.It's a pleasure doing business with him, which has meant that we are slowly filling our house with furniture that he has made. Each piece is a bargain considering the use we will get out of them, and the pleasure of that use.Highly recommended, great guy.

Charles is a master craftsman. He made me a beautiful chair which was a birthday gift to myself and he also sourced the most wonderful piece of local wood used as a table top for a desk for my son. I highly recommend him!

The three day chair-making course was excellent. Charles is incredibly knowledgeable and gifted and is able to pass on his skills with clarity and patience. I enjoyed working through each process using traditional tools and ended up with a chair of which I am very proud.
