Tonight we ventured to cineworld Witney. Parking in nearby Marriotts walk multi storey car park as there is no parking right outside. You get four hours free parking on lower levels and more (time) if you go higher up. Perfect if you're tying in some shopping or a meal after your movie. To the right and left of the cinema you have cafe rouge and brets (which appears to be a burger type place but I'm unsure). The cinema itself was easy enough to navigate. Not too big, not too small. Very clean and the toilets well kept.Staff were super helpful and friendly. Unfortunately in our screen we had some very 'overly excited' unaccompanied children. Now, I'm not one to ruin anyones fun but these children were not out to have fun. They were out to purposely cause trouble. Several complaints must of been made as staff continuously entered the screen to monitor the situation and then eventually removed about half of the children. After that the rest settled down for fear of missing the rest of the film (I'm guessing!) - all of this was handled in a very considerate and professional manor by staff. At the end of the film everyone applauded. Something i have never experienced before! It was quite humbling! The foyer was spacious and offered pick and mix, ice cream, hot dogs, popcorn, slushies and fizzy drinks. There is also a smaller set of toilets here before you go in.Booking online before your visit is advisable. One of the better cinema visits i have had despite the children being children!

Got everything you would expect from modern cinema, but staff were really invested. In this post COVID world where it often seems like customer service was a casualty, it was so pleasant that everyone there I spoke to smiled, gave great responses and couldn't do enough. Well done all - you restored my faith a little

Cinema has some lovely people up front, great ground floor screens - perfect for anyone with mobility issues. Multistory Car park is next door and free for up to 4 hours. Only thing that let the cinema down was that it is looking a little dated and seats/leg room could have been better. I did go to see a 3 hour film though.

LYING MANAGER! I took my family of four to see the Trolls movie. We booked our seats online, but on arrival discovered, not because the staff told us but because there were people in the seats we had booked, the they had changed the screen and also re allocated the seats. Not the end of the world, as we sorted this out ourselves. However, when the film started, half way through the adverts six of the speakers stopped working. I mentioned this to a member of staff, who actually finished my sentence as she knew what I was going to say. Nothing changed, and after the film finished I spoke to the manager who stood in front of me insisting everything was working fine, and that herself and two other members of staff had been in during the film, walked to the back and checked the speakers themselves! I was sitting at the back in the middle of the Isle, so I know for a fact that this was to the case. If they had just accepted that their was a fault and perhaps offered some form of compensation that would have helped. It is not cheap to take a family to the cinema these days, but when it is spoilt by things that don't work as well as a manager who is both argumentative and deceitful, it has certainly made sure of one thing, and that is the fact that next time I will go elsewhere.

Got the 2 for 1 Meerkat Movie deal, saw The Marvels in the afternoon which was good and only two other people in the cinema. The sound was excellent but a bit too loud and the temperature seemed to cycle between air con and too hot.

Generally a good cinema, but it can depend on which screen you see something on. I recently watched Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 one evening, followed by Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny the next. For Mission: Impossible it was in the largest screen, which unfortunately had really inferior sound, almost too quiet in parts and all the sound coming from the front. However the next evening for Indiana Jones was in a smaller screen and the sound was much improved and really got that immersive experience with many noises coming from behind you.Whether there was a problem with the sound in the larger screen or it just didn't activate correctly I don't know, because I remember watching The Terminator in the largest screen years ago and the sound being excellent, but I'd suggest the whole complex could do with a refurbish, as I don't think it's been majorly upgraded since it opened in 2009.

Needs a little something new to make it feel like a modern cinema.Apart from that it's a decent place

Went to watch Insidious 5, the lights remained on throughout the film. Lights did not change after the trailers finished and the movie started. Messaged a few minutes into the movie to ask them if they could turn them off, to be told they were security lights. Ruined the whole cinema experience for us. I have been here many times before and the only lights that have remained on are by the exit doors and on the steps. And to top it off, I was told if I didn’t turn my phone off I’d be asked to leave. If you had checked when I had messaged you would have seen it was 3 minutes into the movie. It wasn’t just me that was concerned, we heard a few other people get up to ask why the lights were still on.Really disappointed.Popcorn was very nice though, as well as the staff at the counter. Which is why you get 3 stars.

Comfy seats good audio. Film slightly out of focus but only noticeable on text.Ice cream counter is a bit of a bottle neck as service is quite slow.An enjoyable night.
