David the salesman was very helpful, pleasant and patient and we received excellent service at the showroom. However, on getting home, our experience was somewhat marred by a couple of high pressure sales calls by telephone trying to persuade us to buy extra products which we had already turned down in the showroom and we can only assume they came from Head Office. This is the only reason we have deducted a star and can otherwise highly recommend Stoneacre.

Excellent service in store. I visited the Northallerton branch and was served by Karen who was very friendly, extremely helpful and arranged the ideal vehicle for me to be delivered from a nearby branch on the same day I visited. Couldn’t be happier with the entire service received in branch… the lack of a fifth star is purely down to the constant calls and text messages from the aftercare, CS and sales team trying to flog me extra insurances and services which started literally 3mins after I signed the sales agreements.

We would honestly recommend Stoneacre Northallerton to anyone wanting to purchase a car. Both Tim and Kevin have gone above and beyond to make sure our experience was first class. From start to finish of the purchase we were kept up to date and aftercare is second to none. Nothing was/ is to much trouble and we would recommend them to anyone thinking about purchasing a car.

By far the worst garage I’ve ever bought a car from. Paid double figures for a Vauxhall mokka x from this place and within a week it had completely packed in! Requested a refund within the week of purchase and was refused! Owned the vehicle for a year in total but only had use of it for 4 months on and off as it spent 8 months in the garage as the car was simply dangerous! Took legal action against them and they did attempt to fix the vehicle, but openly admitted the problems were way too advanced for any of their garages so the vehicle ended up in many different garages in parts. The stress and upset this garage has caused for me is unbelievable and this is a completely honest review (I have evidence of this) based on my experiences. I would definitely not buy another vehicle from stoneacre!

Due to my wife’s illness I required a car she could access more easily. I found all 3 on her short list parked side by side at Northallerton which was were i met Reece Preston. He immediately showed empathy to us both and suggested we parked our car near to the 3 cars due to my wife’s lack of mobility.He showed us all 3 cars and gave us excellent feedback to all our questions.From start to finish of the buying process Reece has been, polite, knowledgeable and helpful in every way at what is a very stressful time for us. It was obvious to us both that there is a fantastic team ethic at Northallerton from manager Kevin to Reece and others whose names I don’t recall and are a credit to Stoneacre

The level of incompetence is unbelievable. Bought a car from them last year, went to have my tyres changed today to be told the locking wheel nut that came with my car doesn't fit. Rang stoneacre northallerton about it to be told by the salesman its my fault for not noticing it myself.
