The Olde House, Farm Cottages

Another wonderful stay. The family and staff who run the Farm are always so obliging and the facilities are A1. They put on special events at certain times such as BBQs. Raining outside? No problem - use the pool/sauna/jacuzzi/steam/games room (the pool is honestly one of the finest I've come across). Like animals? Help feed them twice a day. The farm trail and bird hide are nice touches and the location is great. The cottages are comfy, there's a PenPont store to borrow things like nets for rockpooling, a farm shop on site and more. We've been three times now and will come back again. Thanks again for a lovely holiday!

In a word, fantastic! Love the pool, game room, location and all the activities. Got a 9 year old who is happy on site, got a teen who is down the farm at 7 and we don't see her all holiday. The family who run it are amazing. Been coming in February half term for 5 years now and feels like our home away from home.

The swimming pool facilities are absolutely amazing and highly recommended BUT, we spent almost £80 for our family to go swimming, only got an hours slot and got asked to leave the lounge and games room as its for residents only apparently".So for 10 pounds per person to swim for 1 hour

The facilities are well designed and kept immaculately clean. The staff and the family that run everything are caring and nothing is impossible. This place is particularly good for children, parents and grandparents. There is also a great pub with very good food just a few minutes walk away.

Liked it. Good value holiday accommodation. Great pool and spa. Could do with a better dog walk and we ad no coat hooks in our cottage!Also the pub in the village has closed.

One of the best family locations we have ever stayed at. Properties are very well maintained, and have most of the supplies you need. Everything is within a very short walk. The pool is 3 years old but looks like new, and it is adored by the kids. 1m shallow end 1.5m deep end. Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room are in good condition. Soft play barn is huge, and while a little chilly, the kids loved it.Judge places by they history, considering we met a family that has been coming here for 30 plus years - it days a lot.We will certainly return - hopefully without the storm, gale force winds and power cut! (We were kindly brought candles and torches by the owners).

I rarely review anything but felt I had to after our amazing lambing weekend. This place was great and the owners and staff freaky friendly. Everything was immaculate and the facilities brilliant for young children.My only negative is I don't want to review it so highly on here as then I might not be able to get a surface when we want to come back!!

Amazing place to stay. We had a 5 bed house on the site that was clean, comfortable & so well appointed.The on site facilities included a heated swimming pool , hot tub & hot rooms, games room & nature walks around the acres of farmland. Other facilities there included things like the soft play area and petting farm were more for the young family members.The whole site was pleasant and relaxing and ideal for all types of family compositions.

Absolutely magical. Our 11th year and it gets better and better. It’s a second home to us. The only place we have found where we can relax, and kids are on cloud 9 all day long. A combination of countryside, seaside, and peaceful haven. I hope we never grow out of it. Thank you.
