The food was delicious and delightful! The serving sizes were perfect. And everything was cooked to perfection. The restaurant is down a quiet alley, and could be hard to miss if you don’t see their menu board posted at the small entrance. But i think it was definitely a hidden treasure in this busy city. Will return again soon!

Always a pleasure to meet and eat at this restaurant. Great staff and fantastic food. Its almost hidden away down Crane Court which is one of many narrow Alley ways, once streets, off Fleet Street. The whole area seems to be a bit of a shadow of its self since 2020/21 Covid. Gone are the hoards of office workers out at lunchtime to find a sandwich Bar, pub or café for a dink and bite. The workers are still there, but not in numbers.

Dropped by to have lunch earlier today with a client.Optically very clean and a neat arrangement of seating and tables. Were received well by Mr Ahammed the manger and served well by the two waiters on duty.Food arrived nice and hot and was consumed with ample delight as the taste buds opened up to the dishes we ordered.We did not even notice the servers as they came and went, as we were allowed plenty of space to carry on our own dialogue. Its worth a re-visit more often.Not pricey at all.

Glad I stumbled upon this place. I've been here once before for a snack and now had a proper meal. The starter stole the show (pic) but the entire meal was excellent. Service with a smile and care. Would definitely go back. Highly recommended.

I have been coming to this place a couple of times a year for at least 20 years because it was convenient, quick, and open late. But it was always a gentle disappointment: bland food. Anyway! It recently went through an upgrade: new name, improved decor and, most important, a new chef: Rahman. Absolute transformation. Food is now delicious. Smaller portions (which is good) but properly tasty, which is what I crave in a curry. A request for tasty is normally met with something tasteless but super hot. Not here, now. This guy knows his stuff. The new, reduced (which is good) menu is absolutely super. Spicy meant just that. I will definitely go again. My only suggestion for improvement is that, while the vegetarian side dishes (available in main course portions) were really tasty in themselves, the menu would perhaps be improved for vegetarians by some more interesting paneer dishes, maybe a top end dal makhani and other lentil/bean dishes - I am sure Rahman has lots of ideas. I will be back!
