A little bit on the pricey side and the machines only accept pound coins - no notes, no 50p and no cards!

Went for drying clothes but unfortunately it was closed at 8pm.. lady was inside. Cleaning floor but at the door it says closed at 9pm... bit confused...

Very clean, open at 0645 so that's the best time to do your washing if your an early bird like me no one else there!!

A seemingly normal reasonably priced laundret on the surface.. put a special coin in the right slot tho an a doorway opens up to an elevator that takes you down to a secret cave deep under the town full of strange glowing dangling worms with an underground freshwater stream.. the white hairless blind rats that evolved their gently lick away dead skin and make musical chirping sounds said to sooth the soul from all sin.So it's also full of guilty naked people pretending they got lost.

If you have laundry its the place to go to get them cleaned

I'm without a washing machine at the moment and so I have to use a laundrette. I have found that they are all pretty expensive and this is no different. However, I have always found this place to be immaculately clean and I have found the staff to be very helpful and very friendly. They are quick to address any problems and are nice to chat to.If you have to go to the expense of using a laundrette then I would recommend that you use this one.It opens at 10am and closes at 9pm but you have to be inside by 8pm because the door locks. 8pm is the last time you can put a wash on so there is enough time for you to be done and out by 9.The one thing I find difficult is that they have no change machine and local businesses can be reluctant to hand over their change (not unreasonably) so I recommend that you save up your £1 coins as you get them through the week. To be fair, they told me that they did once have a change machine but it got pulled right out of the wall and stolen so they decided not to get another one.

Old top loading machines. Where d'you put the softener in the £4 ones? No change machine for £ coins. Who walks about with 8 £ coins, when we pay for most things by card?

Gets the job done. A card payment method would make it 5* for me, but I appreciate that would be a big investment
