Liddel Water Lodges

What a beautiful lodge. We had a weekend stay in October. The weather was mixed, a bit of rain and then sunshine. Amazing views. Sound of a roaring river. Relaxing hot tub. Never really been a fan of hot tubs but I am converted. Our little dog Nico loved it as well. Amazing facilities and decor throughout. A lot of thought and hard work has gone into this place. We plan to return again in February. Thank you

Amazing log cabin set in a stunning private location overlooking the river which is the boarder into Scotland. Nice wooded grounds with Large hot tub which is especially lovely looking up at the dark skies and stars at night with the sound of the river nearby. Inside really well equipped with large flat TV and Bose sound system, luxury kitchen with everything you need. Log burning stove with big basket of fire wood makes for cozy nights. Some great landscape and nice walks in the surrounding area with a lovely dog friendly pub Resturant only about 15 walk minutes.

Superb riverside retreat. Even though weather was poor and river turbulent we had a wonderful relaxing weekend.

Gorgeous location for a fabulous visit with great friends. So luxurious! I left an item which was quickly located and sent on to me. Service could not have been better!

We have stayed at multiple lodges throughout the UK but this was one of if not the best we've visited. An immaculate log cabin with everything we needed and the fact it was Dog friendly was a bonus. The hot tub was hot and the log burner was perfect as we stayed during the freeze in mid December. As it was White over all weekend it made it more magical, along with the Christmas decorations and extra little touches ( a welcome hamper, things for the Dog etc.). A local walk in the woods was on the doorstep but it was remote which is we wanted so most other amenities are in driving distance rather than by foot. Idyllic and peaceful with the sound of the river while we enjoyed our time in the tub.High end compared to some of the places we have stayed but certainly worth the extra £££. Would thoroughly recommend.Thanks to Joe for their hospitality.

We had an amazing time staying in Minetrack Cabin with family for our wedding. The cabin and surroundings are amazing and photos don't do it justice. We'd love to return in future!

Perfect cabin for some quality family time. Huge balcony with outdoor seating area, a separate patio with hot tub and fire pit and a pizza oven at the front. Rooms were all beautiful and each included a private bathroom with robes and slippers for each person. A few muddy walking trails close by and if you ask the host will offer you local restaurant and pub recommendations.Everything was in working order - no complaints!

I’ve stayed in many lodges over the years, but this goes down as my favourite. Absolutely stunning lodge, right on the river where you can swim nearby. Will def be returning one day!

A little slice of heaven!Me and my partner stayed here for my birthday and I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. They had absolutely everything and I could cry I’ve now needed to leave. They had absolutely everything you could ever need and was the best experience. Booking again for next year, would recommend for everybody and anybody. I have stayed in this beautiful cabin a number of times and will definitely be returning again. It is nestled away in a rural Cumbria, making it so peaceful and private. The decor is amazing and the owners think of every detail, making it such a wonderful stay.
