One of the ladies on reception has an awful, rude attitude which she tries unsuccessfully to disguise with a smile. The eye drops my cat was prescribed were very overpriced, £10 online and they charged me £28.80. That's on top of the £42 consultation fee. Won't be going back

Spoke to Bev initially on the telephone - she was brilliant, very informative, very reasuring, she really put my mind at ease over Arhie's operation.The reception staff came and greated Archie, which he loved, Bev also came out from the office for a cuddle and a kiss off Archie and then the nurse came out to take us into the consultation room, where she explained everything about the procedure and answered any questions or concerns both me and my daugher had, she assured me a nurse would be present when Archie came round after his operation.Megan sent me a message and photos as soon as Archie came around after his operation.We have recently transfered from the Seaburn branch to The Nook as our appointment had to be changed due to unforeseen circumstances.I cannot fault The Nook practice, the care Archie has been given is outstanding, the staff there make the practice what it is.

I found that that having to visit the practice 3 times for same issue was a bit excessive, traumatising to my cat and a total delay in getting him on the medication he should have been given from day 1. By having repeated visits the practice can bleed people dry of money each time. I believe if you have to go back for sane issue then you should only have to pay for the medication and any testing required. You certainly shouldn't have to pay the visit fee for seeing the vet each time. It should work much like that of a dentist, where when you pay for a certain band if treatment, if you need to go back about the same issue you don't have to pay again.I would like to add that it cost over £336 over 3 days, with a further charge in 3 weeks time. Also I was seen by 2 different vets, both foreign and difficult to understand what they are saying.

Friendly caring staff plenty of time to explain procedures and options clearly , estimate received promptly by email, no delay with booking appointment for consultation and surgery , consultation booked same week surgery early the following week considering Sunday and bank holiday between appointments very prompt service

Wouldnt even rate 1 star, please use blythman vets or ANY other vets! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING..awful vets practice with awful staff to match, they all need a lesson on customer service. One bad experience like this has put me off. Please do not take you beloved pets here.

You humiliate your customers and hold their animals captive.My friend came to you to have her cats vaccinations done, she had an issue with her bank and you compared it to going into a supermarket and stealing items. Or going to a restaurant, eating food, then not paying. Called her a thief and left her crying. Also threatened her with the police.I helped her out of that awful situation. It was all over £30. Absolutely disgusting how you treat customers.An animals health shouldn't be compared to going for a meal or a trip to the supermarket. If your animal needs veterinary assistance they should be able to go in no questions asked and deal with a payment arrangement after, not hold the patient captive until you pay. Do human health services do this? No. They give you a bill and you pay it within a certain amount of time. Awful place and I'll never be taking my pets there. I would advise anyone who cares about their animals to avoid this place like the plague.

Friendly efficient staff on front desk, vets really put you at ease.

Attended appointment with my dog who is reactive, explained what needed to be done in order to control the creativity, quietest time, friendliness of vet, treat motivated so treats at hand, I was assured this would happen, day of appointment, couldn't use back door as vets busy, had to enter through extremely busy main entrance with busy take aways either side and people everywhere, couldn't park directly outside as bays full. Vets despite asking for quiet end appointment had people and pets in waiting areas which immediately set my dig off, not much room to move out of the way, vet appeared to be unsure of my dog not happy with treats as requested before visit. My dog and both myself & partner found the whole experience traumatic. Have used prior to this with another non reactive dog experience was bit better.

Past experiences have been really good. Sadly my last one wasn't, understand they don't specialise" in reptiles however poor choice of words from more than one colleague as we got our animal put to sleep
