Edit - I was very impressed that they took the time to call me and apologise for this error and offer a resolution. If everything is ok next time I will either amend this post or delete but in the meantime I have changed the stars from 1 to 3I don't know what has happened to this place but we will never be returning. The last 2 orders have been awful and last nights was the worst yet. The pakora was way to salty and inedible and extremely small portions now, the chips were like rubber and there are no words to describe the chips, cheese & doner but worst of all the chilli sauce was off. This used to be the best Turkish in Aberdeen but if it is new owners then you won't last long serving up food that's not fit to eat

Friday night and I phoned in my order and went in to pick up the 4 chicken kebabs, chips and vegetable pakora. As I arrived at the shop door I could smell burnt food and when I got in I asked one of the 4 cooks if they had burnt the meal and there was smoke all over the grill and one of the cooks said it was ok.Got home and the chicken was dry and burnt and the vegetable pakora was solid and hard. The chips were not cooked right and the salad was Disappointing. The kebabs and overall meal I threw it in the bin. This place obviously has a bad attitude to customer care and what they prepared and provide to their customers and the customer defiantly does not come first as there is very low food quality standard. If you smell burnt food when you go in – Avoid and this was one of the worst kebabs I have had.

if i could post a 0 star review, i would.This place isn’t Turkish first of all. They lied saying it was.Anyway- this isn’t why I am complaining.I ordered 2 calazones to takeaway.They packed them up, and we took them away.We don’t live in town. We took these home (one for us and the other for our friend).Once we opened them, it looked absolutely fine. But then my friend called and said his is burnt.We hadn’t started to eat ours yet, and ours was also burnt.I phoned and asked for a refund- they said they could replace them. I told them sure, but we live 40 mins away. They refused to do either.I then messaged their page, and they ignored us completely.Lying about being Turkish and giving burnt food to then not offering a refund. I will never ever be going there again, let alone retrying them.A couple doors down towards union st there are more kebabs- try them: they are delicious!

The portions are crazy, I went very hungry and couldn't even finish half. Workers are so friendly. They asked us how are we and if we need anything many times, no charge. The food is soo tasty. Definitely recommend to everyone.

We decided to give this place a go on our trip from Aviemore to Aberdeen and back. Place is really busy with deliveroo and just eat orders non the less walk in customers are served very quickly. Extremely friendly, patient and understanding staff was that day in. Also took a photo of that amazing team that served us. Really recommend that place to everyone wanting kebab, pizza or a burger. They will take care of you and your order. Well done!!

Ordered from here several times, never disappointed. Food is always hot and tasty. Asked for a small favour of adding cheese to the chips in the munchie box. As there's no option for this. Surprisingly, but thankfully they delivered with the cheese. A small, but very kind gesture. Thank you! Highly recommended.

The kebab was extremely under-seasoned, the sauces were grainy and bland and the pita bread was tough and could have come from Tesco’s reduced aisle. Service was good tho.

This is the best Kebab shop in Aberdeen. Baba Hasan is the best chef.They are very friendly & very good customer service. They maintain strictly hygiene.

it was lockdown, the city was empty and quiet, half the Christmas deco still hand in Union Street in Aberdeen. We walked peacefully talking from Old Aberdeen all the way to the Marmaris on the other end of Union street. Coincidentally, it was the first time Aberdeen City has seen over 2 and half inch snow fall this year. as if the walk was not enough, the food at Marmaris made the evening a hit. We thank you for feeding us that evening. Please support this local business. Thank you.
