We have been customers for years with both Nigel and now Matt, excellent family Company. Always responsive, courteous and efficient, explaining everything and answering any questions thoroughly, with really useful, practical tips and advice. Matt replaced our ageing boiler last week over 2 days and worked so hard and diligently, ensuring everything was up and running and working smoothly before he left. No hard sell, unexpected or exorbitant fees, this friendly company is a real gem!

Matt has serviced my boiler for over two years and helped me in ‘emergencies’ on many occasions E.g December no hot water and three kids! Sorted it all and only charged a very fair amount. Very fair rates and he is professional, polite and helpful.

Matt Gardner was the apprentice on the job when his father fitted our boiler in 2003. He has long since taken over from his father and I only used him to service our boiler every year and carry out what few repairs have been necessary over the 16 years. During that time Matt has also replaced all of our radiators and the odd general plumbing job such as taps. He always gives me a quote for all work and I am so confident in his fairness and standard of work that I do not need to get any alternative quotes. He is also good in an emergency and will do everything to help us out. Long may he continue looking after us.

Arrived on time. Friendly but professional. Efficient and informative about what he was doing throughout the visit.

Serviced our boiler for several years. Requested quotes for other work - didn't reply or action. Then no response when we tried to book further boiler servicing. Emailed and called several times. I even received an email reminder for servicing and again no reply to that either. Not communicating with customers, and especially those who have used you repeatedly, is VERY poor service. You give the profession a bad image along with others who do the same. I work in Customer Services where the golden rule is communication at all times.Classic response I'm afraid. I left at least 2 messages - on your landline AND mobile answerphone and responded to email reminder. We decided not to go ahead with the work as no response from calls. We had asked for a quote the previous year on your visit ond nothing forthcoming. I do not post poor reviews unless I feel it is absolutely necessary.

Can’t fault Nigel Gardener and Son, always punctual, excellent communication, and professional.Just left voice message asking for a copy of gas service certificate, and was sent through extremely quickly.

I have been lucky enough to benefit from this business for about 20 years, first through father and now the son. They have never let me down and have always provided a first class service. The latest job was the replacement of the old boiler. There were problems because of the weather, water company and the faulty new boiler but Matt stayed on top of the situation resulting in a better boiler at a better value. Cannot praise him enough.

Attended my parents home to check and service their boiler and dealt expertly with all problems . Nigel was punctual, courteous, efficient and very professional. Will definitely use his services again .

We have been using Nigel Gardner & Son for 20 years now and used to have Nigel before Matt. He is absolutely superb. He's just fitted a new boiler for us two days after our old boiler (that he has been servicing for 20 yrs) went kaput! Excellent service as usual. Trustworthy and reliable. We wouldn't use anyone else and would highly recommend him to anyone.
