There appear to be many offering various levels of service to repair Corsa ECUs. Something about Tamar Electronics and Neville's honest approach encouraged me to pay the slightly higher price for the service. It transpired that the ECU from my Vauxhall Corsa 1.3 CDTi had only suffered a small amount of corrosion at the edge of the circuit board due to an ingress of water and the fault was only evident when bench testing. However, as components began to be removed from the ECU circuit board Neville and his colleague were able to find the corrosion and repair. It took a little longer than the two weeks turnaround but now the repaired unit has been refitted to the car for about a month and the random cutting out has been resolved. I am an amateur DIY mechanic. The removal and replacement of the ECU was nice and simple and there was no need for reprogramming or expensive kit. Just plug it back in and away we go. I have been to a main BMW stealaships with a fault they could not fix. I then taken my ECU to Tamar Electronics to where I got professional advice and this was fixed within 2 days for a great price well recommended ☺☺

Late review however sent an ecu for a Hilux surf for repair back in June. Told them there was no rush however they still had it turned around in about 5 days and sent back to me. Great communication throughout and car is running perfectly again for a very reasonable cost. Would highly recommend to anyone
