I love this shop and make the effort to pop in whenever I'm in London. They have a great range of products in the shop (more than on their website) and the staff go above and beyond to help and advise you.

The sale associates basically ignored us while we were looking for the traveler razor. I ended up finding the item my partner wanted. Ironic

Unfortunately it is closed on Sunday, but is still the best place in town for mens grooming services.

I’ve been enjoying TOOBS products for over 20 years now. I’ve always been a fan of their Sandalwood scent and buy their shower and bath gel annually online. I’ve just received another order and was bitterly disappointed to find that it hardly smells of Sandalwood at all. There’s also no signs of creme soap in the liquid. What a shame. The price has gone up but the quality has taken a significant dive, which is the exact opposite of what TOOBS have traditionally stood for.

I had a delightful experience shopping here. The staff is very helpful and they have a wide variety of shaving supplies. The pure badger brush and shaving cream I purchased are top notch. Five star staff and supplies.

I really enjoyed my visit and did make a couple of purchases.the staff I encountered were very friendly and very helpful. The residents of London are very lucky to have such a selection of high end shaving shops. I live near Birmingham and we have nothing when I want something I have to buy online.

I ordered online Sandlewood shaving cream because my husband loves the smell of it. A d I got a shampoo.Really nice products, I just wished that the 2 shaving cream would have come in a box and not lose. But overall I do like the products.

Please note that the following review is of the actual shop, service, and experience I had on Jeremyn street and not of the products. It goes without saying I think Taylors of Bond Street makes excellent products which I highly recommend- especially any of their shaving creams which happen to be of particularly good value.I visited the store on 2/3/23 to smell the various shaving creams & had a slightly below average experience. I felt there were some things I liked & disliked and I might go back but with caution.I was approached by one shop assistant who asked if I needed help and as luck would have it we got in a nice conversation about perfume and smells etc which lasted maybe 15/20 minutes as they gave me a shop tour. During this time occasionally a customer would come in to buy something and essentially I felt my presence was not especially onerous or problematic. This said eventually I felt some of the senior members of staff decidedly pushed for me to leave and were not pleased with the fact I was in this friendly conversation with a M.O.S..At risk of damning future visits to this shop I will also point out I am a young American. I have lived in London for over a decade and I am of course socially competent. This said the overall impression I had was that I was unwelcome as both a young man and a foreigner. Also worth pointing out, the young member of staff was helping me was also not from the UK but Poland. At one time I had asked to wash my hands. The barber who brought me to the sink made unsolicited critiques of my shave technique, pointing out slight blemishes of razor burn on my neck and patronised me with unwanted advice. This was the most tasteless and insensitive point in my experience. I felt judged and was quick to leave that conversation. While it is not necessarily something I could evidence, as most implicit xenophobia, I gathered I was eventually an unwelcome customer in the shop covertly.Nonetheless, I purchased assorted items and I would like to add that some of this was owing to the help of the lovely young sales assistant who helped me in the shop consultation.Speaking to the uncomfortable aspects of my experience, maybe 10 minutes after leaving I realised I wanted to purchase another item and went back into the store with the exact item in mind. Upon entering, it felt as though some kind of conversation had transpired while I was gone where ultimately the young sales assistant who had helped me was scolded for some reason or another, and that even perhaps a critique about customers like me (young foreigners who came to browse the shop) had also taken place. Because of this I was all the more determined to simply buy the item and leave. My final thoughts; The good;I went to the shop to smell the shaving creams; they last a very long time and I wanted to be sure I would the like the smell I would buy (aside; I recommend the rose and one for sensitive skin!). To that end I was satisfied; the items I was interested in were in stock. The member of staff who helped me was friendly, patient and helpful. The bad;A generally stuffy unwelcome experience for a young foreigner, perhaps signs of a hostile work place environment. The ugly;Being evaluated, criticised, and judged by a member of staff. Barber or not, it was completely, unprofessional, insensitive and out of line. Ick.Perhaps in the (fortunately distant) future I may well go again, but this experience has definitely rubbed me the wrong way. The reason I have given 2 stars is 1) they had the items I wanted In stock 2) because of the young sales assistant who was friendly. She was kind and genuine and I am sorry if she got in trouble for offering me excellent customer service; she didn’t deserve that, and moreover they don’t deserve her. I can only hope that the other member of staff follow her lead in the future.I would have liked to give 3 stars- giving the benefit of the doubt about the xenophobic vibe- but the barber’s comments were very real and truly reprehensible.
